Slim, light and faster than ever - the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 frees all of your media for life on the go. A 1GHz dual-core processor makes everything from browsing to watching films smoother, and with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS at its heart, there’s a whole world of apps and widgets on offer too.

Highlights:
Entertainment for everyone. Thanks to Video Hub, you’ll have access to hundreds of titles just about anywhere. Readers Hub puts an end to lugging around stacks of books and lets you enjoy a vast library in the palm of you hand. There are even Hubs for games and music so you’ll always be able to get your fix of frantic gaming or laidback listening.
The dual-core processor makes multitasking a breeze. Stream videos smoothly, enjoy faster gaming or just switch between apps in the blink of an eye. It’s all possible.
AllShare Play lets you wirelessly stream movies and music to DLNA compatible devices, upload or backup seamlessly and even pull files from connected devices on your home network.
A front-facing camera and 3 megapixel rear camera make communication more personal. Chat to friends face to face through calling apps like Skype, or take and share candid snaps with ease. You can even capture 720p video footage.
8GB of internal memory is enough space for hours of listening and watching. You can even add an extra 32GB of external memory thanks to the integrated micro SD card slot.
802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity give you the flexibility to transfer files however you want to.

Yes that's correct, and even if it was only one, JL only ever cover the warranty after the first year. The first year is always a manufacturer referral.

these tab2 prices need to start falling. cold

Hands up anyone who has a tablet on 3-4G? Think I would prefer a 16GB Nexus 7 for £10 more and use my mobile as a wireless hotspot.

This is the WiFi only model only so you have to use your phone as a wireless hotspot same as you would with the nexus 7.

Its free BROADBAND you get, that means home internet.

disagree: "When buying a tablet go for a good branded one, so you get firmware update and well tested compatibly with all major apps"
I assume you mean iPad, Galaxy, Nexus and Co. with this comment.
but I got a 9.7" Ainol Novo 9 about 3 weeks ago for 153 quid
Outperforms my girflriends Galaxy Tab2 10 inch, has no compatibility issues whatsoever and Ainol does deliver firmware upgrades as well.
Sick to spend money on highly respected brand names to pay for the brand name instead of function and performance

I bought Hannspree Hannspad and Amazon Wendy Lou cheap tablet and had nothing but problems. Samsung Tab and Ipad have had no issues but admit they are slow, I agree some cheaper China tabs can outperform some of the big brands, but I have found build quality and reliability on the branded Tabs to save me headache and trawling forum for roms, fixes, and work arounds. The Primal P9X is one of the fasted tabs available, but worried about official support.

i understand where you are coming from, bought cheap, shiny coasters myself
Have a look at the ainol novo9 sparks....has a retina display, quadcore A7 cortex A31 processor, 16gb, 2gb ram, full HD HDMI out and costs about the same as the one you linked with lower spec.
And Ainol is a top name under the no names (I call it a top tier 2 vendor) regarding support and reliability according to the forum posts.
I have the tablet and it is amazing. And I can live with the fact that the wireless reception is one bar less than the plastic tablets of the top brands as the full brushed Alu body looks and feels really sleek...LOL

Sorry, was abroad for a couple of days.
There are two helpful sites:
That is the place where you get the tablet and find the support site etc. Do not really know if it is the official english Ainol site, but has all you need
That is the Forum, like all user forums with more or less helpful stuff
And then there is the official Ainol Facebook site. And social media is more and more used for tech companies support

Manys thanks, did you get any additional tax charges on UK delivery?

I do not know what you mean.
I do not know what has been done VAT or Custom wise...everything managed by the shop i bought from (focalprice.com).
Btw the description(s) on the focalprice website are sometimes fictional...there is for example no A9 Cortex A31 chip on the market.
And exchanging messages with them sometimes leads to a rebate of some USDs (5 in this case...)...
