Price is £158 then £10 for new customers and a wait for £30

£118 outlay would be a deal.

The prices of these and the 10.1 are going up and down like a yo-yo...each time it goes back down its a deal..
If you aren't eligible for the first time user £10 use code TD-HXTP to get 1000 extra clubcard points. Can't use both.
seen some cheap 7" tablets on Ebay £50 - £60, what are these like?
Apparently, according to a member of staff in Tesco last night, they were informed by a Samsung rep they have cut short the cashback deals. I don't know how much truth is in this, but the promotion has also disappeared from the Samsung promotions index page on their website.

was just going to post that link!

used it yesterday
I can confirm what Ook has said, went to buy one yesterday and was told that samsung have ended the cashback deal early. The staff had been instructed to remove any promotional banners for the cashback deal too.
Comes down to £112.4 if you use TCB as well

The link will stay open im sure as people have to make claim 15 to 31 days from buying the product so cant shut the link down unti mid january so i will chance it. if they stop promoting it less claims will be made so that is what samsung are most probably after. think the cashback been a bit of a hot offer.
yawn:(
Can people put the retailer name in the title please?
Fruityloops - maybe that will be the '@Tesco' in the title... I assume that was meant as the retailer rather than a description of the product...
Obviously it wasn't there when I posted my comment and someone has added since!
Yeh, that was obvious. stupid me...
Playbook beats this hands down.
After 38 days I have not heard anything about the cashback after applying or even received a confirmation email from them. Has anybody had similar experiences?

I applied for my cash back today had a e mail instantly saying claim complete
how can anyone say a playbook beats this?. ( i am provided a playbook by my work) and its great if you like carrying a paving slab around and especially if you love paying between £3 to £5 for apps that are free elsewhere (angry birds £5) blackberry app store.
Hope the cashback is still valid. Link below.

Why shouldn't it be? Still a perfectly valid offer - though Samsung are making it as difficult as they possibly can to make a successful claim.

flop/silly/idiotic comment - oh dear......oh, you were taking the michael.
Dont fret over cashback just get a nexus 7
It appears if you follow the link to the cashback information on the above Tesco link that the cashback deal ended on 3rd December 2012. This could be why Tesco are saying that the offer has ended.
However if you follow the link to the Samsung site they are still stating in their terms and conditions that the offer
expires at 2359 hours on 31st December 2012.

I tried one of these a couple weeks ago, I wasn't impressed, it just doesn't feel like a quality product at all. However for £118 it's decent enough. Build quality is horrible on this tablet versus a Playbook, however it uses Android therefore its potential and features are way above the Playbook. I'd also look at GoClever R83.3 which you can pick up for £129 - £139 from Ebay and online retailers. It easily gives this tablet a run for its money.

Skyfire browser or use google and search for the answer. I'm feeling helpful so here it is >

pcnexus.blogspot.co.uk/201…tml (this is an example if it's not up to date, don't blame me at least I tried to get the information and there's plenty more links available from Google)

Took me as long as it takes to type "galaxy tab 2.0 install flash player" in to Google. In the whole of human history we have never had so much access to freely available knowledge and we have powerful search engines to find that information in the blink of an eye, yet millions of people seem unable to utilise these simple freely available resources. I get really annoyed with people asking for help and they haven't even thought to use Google, are people really that stupid or just plain lazy?

The title is so wrong

It is £158 with £30 cashback and possibly a further £10 off with a Tesco code if you qualify. How hard is it to state the facts!!

This or a Nexus? I'm torn. I realise the Nexus is better all around but I love the Galaxy series & Samsung in general, & the price tag.

I find it amazing that you are giving advice to people on posting deals when you have been a member over 5 years and haven't even posted 1 deal !!!

Just bought one for my daughter 3 days ago.its a great bit of kit.very impressed.
Playbook is garbage.this is really good.i have a galaxy note which is also very good.
Ive had a ipad and they are overpriced and overhyped like the rubbish iphones.
If they had a better screen on this they would be flying off the shelves.
