Usual spec, not completely sure it comes with 16GB SD card as appears to be standard elsewhere, free delivery to store otherwise £3.95.

You need to use code Q6MQ-FNHG-GJHJ at checkout for this model (enter on last page before sending order).

Also got the 7 inch at £109 (£30 off with code DRMQ-6CLY-YGV7, usually £139) and 10.1 inch at £219 (£60 off with code 9CVJ-7M9H-LPTT usually £279)

Also available in red and black if white is not your favourite colour.

UPDATE 7/2: Recent review on Sainsbury's website suggests that 16GB SD card does come part of the bundle in addition to 16GB onboard memory. - bluefish2303

UPDATE 7/2: "Just had email from John Lewis...they will price match this at £149.99. :)" - Letsworktogether

Great price, good find

Not sure on this, as so many Samsung tablets, but I think this has very good spec compared to the 7 inch...(?)

Got the kids all 7" tabs for Christmas (one of the deals on here, thank you!), and cannot recommend these tablets enough - good price for 8" one - but to just confirm/change the description slightly - the 16gb storage is built in, and you still have a SD slot to increase (you have to buy the card you want to insert, 2/4/8/16 etc.). the 7" ones we had were 8Gb, and we've got the kids 16Gb cards for movies, which works well. Hope this helps some, credit OP.

good price hot

Do you have the code for the 7" tablet? I want to buy one for my daughter's birthday but the price has skyrocketed since I bought mine in December (I managed to nab one for £99 from Amazon). Sorry, cant find the code on HUKD =)

Having had tablets ranging from 7" to 10", my personal opinion is that the 8" ones are the best. The 7" screen is just a tiny bit on the small side and the 10" can be too big at times for comfort. 8" are just the right balance

Agree - would like the code for the 7" as well - is it posted separately ?

Been waiting for this price, missed the boat last time round, bought one now £150 many thanks OP for bringing this to my attention, heat added. BTW the codes are on sainsburys website. They have a special on all samsung tablets.

Got this for £150 with the extra 16Gb card from amazon before xmas, well pleased with it. Swapped the Nexus 2013 for it - see my review on amazon

+ heat as best price at mom

This or the Nook HD+ for 130? Similar spec but the Nook has a 1080p screen at 9inches

Anybody reckon it will come down soon in price or is this the best deal out/it will get? Been looking to get one of these for some time.

Bought my wife one of these. They're excellent & very responsive. Recommend to anyway thinking of buying.

how does this compare with the LG G Pad, which I expect to tall in price

This has been as low as £139 HERE, but £149 plus Nectar card points is the cheapest it's been in a while. Good price.

Great price. Hopefully amazon will price match soon as I have vouchers for them. Also there is supposed to be the new Pro series coming out this month so might hold out for that.

The pro series will be massively more expensive from what I've read. Probably double this price at launch.

Hi when i can put the voucher after card details

Great price, got one of these for the commute to work and its excellent. One downside for me is that its not iPlayer downloads compatible (yet). Worth every penny though!

Other places seem to have 16gb SD card as part of the package IN ADDITION to the 16gb onboard; the Sainsbury's description did not include this fact hence the statement.

Will John Lewis price match this...?

Can believe this has dropped so much in price

Did wonder this myself; not sure if they will given it is a voucher discount

It's not really comparable imo. The G Pad is a far better all round tablet and although the 8 inch version of the Galaxy Tab is better than the 7 inch, I think you are paying for the Samsung brand rather than the actual tablet.

£150 is a good price for an 8 inch tab but if you can spend the extra £50 then definitely go for the G Pad. I own the G Pad and my wife owns the Galaxy and the G pad is better in every department.

I won't vote but this is so cold. I got my Fiance a 7" tab 3.0 for £65 from currys.

you got a samsung tab 3 for £69 my ****

I have the 3g version of this tab and for me, the size is a perfect balance between the 7" and the 10" ones

janz70

Hahaha yes i did

I went into Currys and asked them to price match CPW. They has the tablet for £119 in currys and £79 on CPW. So they price matched the difference making the tablet £75.

I have an AMEX card and had an offer for £10off and £50 spend and it applied to this purchase making the tablet £65.

So don't hate

is this a lot faster than the tab 3 (7") version , which I had before xmas and ended up selling on as was so slugglish and kept freezing !

hot deal lol to the haters.

Still cant believe people are willing to spend this much just because of an SD card slot.

Because that is literally the only thing it offers over other similarly priced Android, and even iOS tablets.

And before the sheep start crying "yeah but iPads cost 4563456345 more and itunes blah blah blah", you can get iPad Mini w/ Retina 16GB for about 90 quid more on eBay new.

Android users should look no further than the Nexus 7 at this price point really. Unless you are desperate for that SD slot for your torr... I mean legally purchased media.
