Was checking out the prices of the Tab 3 while trying to decide on the Asda Tab 2 deal, and found that Amazon have the Tab 3 7" at under £150... Seems like a great deal to me

thought this was hot so bought it but I've just cancelled it... can get it cheaper from currys using code ATAB10 making it £143.99

This price for the 7" is meh if it was the 8" version then it would have been an excellent deal

I'd probably go for the 3 over the 2, but I find 7" tablets too small really.

Is there any model which has both Wi-Fi and 4G/3G access. All of them seem to be wi-fi only!!

Believe me 169 ppi display is horrible. Would go for Nook HD or HD+ over this.

Screen on this one has much better colour reproduction and contrast.

£129 for first time Isme customers - code for £30 off expires 31st October 3WJXF

I still prefer my 3g Tab 2 with full phone function.

Strange place hukd posted this is white last week and it sank, white now £148.49

This is effectively just a Tab 2 7.0 in a new chassis. You could get a Nexus 7 2012 32GB for this so unless you need an SD slot I reckon this is a pretty poor option.

the processor in the tab3 is a significantly newer model, Qualcomm Krait/Snapdragon 400, whereas the tab2 is a Ti Omap 4470 which is a generation behind, the extra memory should help it run better too.

that said, newer and better screens are coming along, so I would think this will get a bit cheaper and a new Tab with HD+ will become available.
