Too expensive. Should cost no more than £69.95.

That price will get you the 7" 8GB version

Possibly for the 7" model but you will never get the 8" model for £69.95

Good price and heat added. For any doubts that this is a decent price see a previous post from a month ago which was £149 for the 16gb version

Saw this in Asda Brighton today, seemed like a decent price, but was unsure if particularly good for this model, as it has had SO many offers recently it seems.

If you're thinking of a Tab 3 ONLY and I mean ONLY think about getting the 8" or 10.1". The 7" isn't really worth it. I paid £179 and at that price was a bargain with the MicroSD.

And that's based on what?

Have been checking Asda site everyday for a deal such as this since the 10.1 was up for £179. Thank you for posting, glad to finally order one!

I paid £179 from PC World in Dec .13

Coldddddd.

Nexus 7 2012 is still better than tab 3.

How does this compare with other android tablets at the same price point? Looking at reviews they don't seem to be great but that was when it was being compared to an iPad mini which at the time was the same price.

we have a tab 3, which is an excellent tablet, but i cant seem to run apps from the sd card, which means the number of apps i can have is limited. as we have this for games for my son, it does make it quite restrictive

I have this and its great. well worth the price, (_;)

Bargain! Cheepest i've seen it is £159

The reviews I've seen didn't favour the Galaxy Tab at all, whether compared to ipad or not. Shame really, their phones are usually at the top end of reviews. I was tempted to get one with the £10 Paypal voucher but I couldn't find any favourable reviews.

You sound like a nice individual

Next cheapest I have seen is £159 here! currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Where else have you seen it for £139?

The tab range of tablets are all bargain basement low end models. Whichever model you use you'll notice lag from the minute you first use it. They're better Rooted and with a custom ROM, however most buyers won't want to faff around doing that.

was.

after update it's unusable. I am looking for a new tablet that will not update itself to become unusable.

writing this from a tab 3 8" I can tell you I find this to be a great tablet. I have an S4 and don't really find I notice any lag, though perhaps some people will.

I have no problems running apps from the SD card unlike someone who posted earlier.

I purchased at about £180 at Christmas and have no regrets, and I'm pretty sure the last few offers listed here have been consistently around £149.

This should be hot as lowest price so far, and a great tablet that I make heavy use of, despite having other devices available including a recent iPad, decent notebook PC, and an S4. Nothing bargain basement about this device from a quality or features standpoint. Unless you need a feature like the Note stylus or prefer Apple, this for me is the sweet spot of price/performance/features for the majority of people.

A pity it's just dual core, average screen resolution and build quality. However, for an 8" tablet still a good price and voted hot, but I think the LG Pad 8.3 with better screen, processor and build may be a better buy, if it can be got for not much more.

where can you get the galaxy tab for £69.95?

Good deal for a reasonably good tab, much better than the 7 inch tab 3. Not up to a Nexus 7 2013 but you can't get them for this price. Heat added.

I bought this a couple of months ago when the same deal was on with asda. I pricematched it with john lewis at the time as they were giving a £50 john lewis voucher too which was the only reason I bought (for my mum). It's a decent deal but to be honest even at £139 is overpriced for the spec. My mums had no problems with it and the screen is a massive improvement on the 7" model. It does lag from what I've seen but not so bad. Mine came with a 16gb micro sd card too in the box so 32gb in total.

The best tablet around for this price easily. Better processor than the 10" model funnily enough. Most similar thing to iPad I've come across

I've got this tablet, it's good, but it's not going to set the world alight. If you want to browse Internet and have access to apps it's great. I got a free 16gb sd card in the box, so 32gb for the money, can't beat that!!

g pad for £119, woops

I am writing this on my Samsung 8" bought at xmas for £149 at Tesco xcellent tablet, great screen res, light weight to carry around.
ok not the a qaud core but works plenty fast enough for my needs.
Great price good find heat added.

I got the Gold brown model, and it came with 16GB sd card. Check the Q&A as other ppl have gotten the free 16 gb sd card with the Gold brown model.

Go to Amazon.

Type in 10" tablet.

Gasp as putting "Samsung" aside, you can purchase 10" tablets with comparable specs for around £90 delivered.

Yes, but why buy from Currrys when Asda are far better to deal with if you have a problem.
Curry's/PC world are a real pain with returns.

Yes crappy Chinese trash with a dodgy warranty.

With 1.5gb of ram, I'm surprised that people are finding it laggy?

Went and bought one from local Asda this morning, choice of black or white. Bought to replace faulty Nexus 7 mk 1. Excellent tablet for £139, couldnt see anything to beat it at the price, ok the LG goad offer on Tesco lsst week was better but they messed up big style with my order for that. This tablet will do me fine for what I need, plus its Android, which I get on with.
