£449 online. Yeah I know some stores sold a few at £250 several weeks ago but no stores are selling them at that price now.

Item description, first sentence, "The Samsung Galaxy Wi-Fi Tab provides you with all of the same functionality and features found in the original Galaxy Tab, but without the need for a 3G contract."

I didnt know that there was a WiFi only version either....

that's weird I thought there is no version with wi fi only? maybe samsung came up with something new?

same here, I thot all the 7" galaxy tabs were both WiFi and 3G capable. Didnt realise that there were separate models. Bizarre as I've never seen it mentiond on any of the reviews.

update : just googled it and it appears that it is a 'new release'.

This model is called the P1010 versus the original P1000.

That being said..... I am having a heck of a time finding the actual technical specs for this model. Everything on the web seems to be hearsay. Even Samsung's website has nothing. So unknowns are GPS, Amoled screen with Gorilla glass?

BTW, it also looks like this model may not apply for the £200 media offer from Samsung which has been extended to 27 March. The registration paperwork for the offer requires a imei number or no luck and the wifi only version won't have a imei number because no 3G.

I've ordered it up and it will arrive Friday the 25th so no actual info until then.
