Not that great. Got a Tab Pro with higher red screen for £10 more from Amazon.

with chromecast + kitkat 4.4 setup you can mirror the whole phone screen (movies, apps, games etc) which is quite awesome. (expect some lag and downgraded video quality though)

Good price with the extras though I thought the proc would have been a bit faster and 2Gb RAM not 1.5Gb

£10.99 cheaper @ Tesco without the chromecast

Only if you want/need the extras - I've got a samsung Tv with everything built in that the chromecast has, so I would rather save the £10.99

Good point?. :-)

But does your awe inspiring Samsung TV with 'Chromecast features' also give u those never ending randomly reoccuring 'Chromecast Deals' though?, since just shy of Christmas 2014? (FREE XMEN Movie download, £15 Google Play Credit, £20 Google Play Credit, FREE Seasons Box Set Downloads, & ..... )

I think spending the 'extra' £10.99 for the longetivity of those who truly luvvvvvvvvvvv a 'BARGAIN', is the better option here? lol. :-)

£10 off if you have o2 priority

sorry I won't go for Samsung even with all these codes..

"save" £10.99 and forego £50 of extras that you could sell or give away if you don't need them. Nice thinking oO

poor spec, not worth it at this price imo.

Link? I have been looking for a Tab Pro on Amazon the last few days and cannot see any NEW for £199

Processor is slow and screen res is low. There are much better deals available than this.

Good deal with extras take some heat.

if you're on 02 you could save another £10 with 02 priority.

I ENJOY capitalising random WORDS too. Also the LINK was obviously not what sent you to THAT website given you can SEE the url of the previous POSTER'S link in your QUOTE.

On topic this looks like a decent deal. Maybe not 500 degrees of value but certainly better than anything any of the naysayers so far have posted.

i thought the john lewis tab pro was the 8" version at this price, isn't artnada asking about the 10" pro?

if the offer for google credit expires on 15/4/2015 and the post was put on 1day ago how can we register after 21-60 days?

Remember the Google offer is only for new customers too. You'll more than likely still be able to claim derek . see this page

well you miss my point... localcast cannot mirror the whole screen of the phone. You can view movies and media on localcast but not apps or live full screen of your device....

I use localcast and showbox myself for movies but when I play games I use chromecast app to do it.

The naysayers are right. There are tablets that are not even being offered as a deal that are better value than this, but people are just not interested.

Perhaps but that's kind of my point. If you're going to take the time to complain about the quality of someone's deal why not follow that complaint up with a better deal suggestion of your own? Particularly as this is obviously still a good deal in a lot of people's eyes and still appears to be the best deal around for this specific product.

I want to see if there is any interest first. There wasn't any.

I don't think that's the 2014 edition (as you've linked to in the comparison).
From the pic they have on Asda, that looks like the older version, which is very poor.
