Was going to buy from Curry's after trying it out. Surprised how light it felt compared to my Lenovo Tab2 A10 -70.

Good reviews hereAmazon.co.uk:Customer Reviews: Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) T580 25.54 cm (10.1 inch) Wi-Fi Tablet PC (Octa Core, 2GB RAM, 16GB eMMC, Android 6.0, new version) black amazon.co.uk/gp/…TF8

I've got this and it's definitely worth the money. It is a heavy tablet but then again it is 10.1 inch. Also the keys at the bottom are not back-lit so will take some getting used to if using in the dark.

I've had issues with wifi on my 1 so gonna return it.

Me too, i got one on the o2 deal posted a while back. I got a replacement, the replacement had the exact same issue.

Several friends bought it too, in total 4 tablets bought, all 4 had the issue, two were returned and two were replaced, the replacements have the exact same issue. So all in all 6 out of 6 had the same wifi issue.

Damn Over all the tablet is good apart from the annoying WiFi.

Oh yeah besides that it's a good tablet. Sadly I bought mine as a streaming device and it gives a connection error every few minutes so it's completely useless to me.

It's passed the 14 day return window. So I've got myself a lovely paperweight because I couldn't sell it to someone knowing it's faulty.

I'm back using my iPad 3

May well be solved with a software update in the future.

It may but too little too late as far as I'm concerned. Support say it 'may' be fixed. That's not really good enough. The tablet is useless for anything internet based.

I'm going to pick up a new iPad in the next few weeks. Might cost me £300 but at least I know it will work and if it doesn't the local Apple shop will fix it.

Unfortunately a lot of these products are rushed out for financial issues before all the bugs are worked out so the consumer actually becomes the beta tester. So can't blame you for switching products.

To be honest it's the first Samsung smart device I've owned (since the flip phone days!). I've only ever had iPads but the air 2 was two years old and the pro is far too expensive just to watch some Netflix and Amazon prime etc so I went for the Samsung. The couldn't care less attitude of customer service is what's put me off mostly. I get that sometimes bugs happen etc but they honestly couldn't care less. That's what annoys me.
