I have this since 2016 and it's going strong. No more updates to Android though, so it stays on 8.1.0.

Because of its age, and despite the LTE, I think this should be around the £99 mark. £139.00 is too much.

The worst WiFi chipset that you can have on a tablet. Had this model for the past few years and streaming YouTube or Netflix sometimes it's a pain.
I am sure you can find something better at this price.
I would not recommend if it's bought for streaming.

I have one too, and agree with what you said.
16gb memory is not enough and the reason that I am looking for a new tablet.

So Sd cards no use with this tablet? Or is that just iPads
2gb/16gb. Don't think it's the s-pen version.

I've had the same problem. Changing DNS trough 1.1.1.1 App helped a bit.

Also: 2GB of RAM is just not enough these days as applications became more hungry for RAM.

I would recommend this tablet if price < £100

Only a limited number of apps can be moved to the sd card. Some of the apps move back into the internal memory automatically when they are launched, so fills the internal memory up. I have a 64gb card in it, and there is over 50gb available.
Me think I just get 10inch iPad instead of this piece of junk
Was after as much a decent tablet as possible around this price.
Thought this might fit the bill til I read all your comments

Yes they all got or had this tablet it Crap for price! one had it 3 years he Getting an iPad for his next tablet so save your money for a better tablet
You need a minimum of 64GB internal storage, half for the OS and installed apps and the rest for good measure . 16GB fills up far too quick and android constantly complains about storage running out. a memory card can then be used for transferring files over

i got my LTE for £99 in 2017, its since failed. a possible port issue as it doesn't charge

Though it takes an SD card, Samsung won't allow you to install it as internal storage. Other brands allow this, so in this respect Samsung are almost as bad as Apple regarding memory cards.
Good grief. £139 for this?

Try this one …Try this one https://ao.com/product/smt510nzkdbtu-samsung-tablet-black-68005-252.aspx

Thanks. That's great, but above the ceiling price. Ideally below £150. Nearer to £100 the better
Samsung must have had a sale on, i don't think any retailer has more than 5 of these other than BT

far too expensive for the 2019 model. Anywhere under £125 would be more a logical price. Its very much the same specs as 2016 model and it doesn't even have fingerprint unlock and the battery is smaller. a better option would be to source the 2018 10.5 version (£160) as it is due android 10 or an S5e which come with loads of extras, but is twice the price (£250-£300)

* RAM listing on link is wrong, 2019 is only 2GB

Just something you may like, gone over your budget though.
