Why cold? This is a very good price and got hot at £35 from the same seller. Well, I don't even know why I am asking, the night shift never votes hot.

Great find!
Your child will end up smashing it because it's so slow.
The speed isn't the real issue here, its the old OS. You wont be able to get the majority of apps on this.

Yes, this is why I think this makes a decent tablet for kids. They can watch cartoons, play some games and if they smash it, not a big deal considering the price. For this purpose, I think is a good buy, definetely better than a brand new generic tablet which will cost double anyway.

Most games probably wont work and you will be lucky if YouTube is supported for long on the OS

Yes, but probably depends on the games and the age of the child. Mine is 5 and has my old Asus tablet, probably 10 years old, so I guess the specs are not that great. But completely agree, there are better ones there. Considering how 'careful' my son is with his tablet, I do believe it is not the right time to pay £100+ for another one. Wish it had a bigger screen and I would have got it.

I like the form factor of a 7inch tablet. They're small and pocketable, but I've not seen any that has the ommph of an 8in tablet. For example I'm awaiting delivery on an Huawei MediaPad M5 which is an 8in tablet with 32gb storage and 4gb of ram, there's no 7in tablet comes close those specs. Unless you want to spend £400+ on an iPad Mini.

don't disagree anything on what you said except the cost of ipad mini .. currently you can even get it for 279 new.

8 inch and above is OK, 7 inch is too small and not good for their eyes for watching cartoons or YouTube for kids, imho.
Good deal I think. Cheers for the info OP

He's got a bigger one, a rubbish one but does the job. This one is for when we are in the airplane or travelling, so not used for long. But I agree with you, if I will find a 10 inch at around this price, I will get it. The strange part is majority of the tablets designed specially for kids are 7 or 8 inch.
Would this run Waze or google sat nav.
