With F1.9 aperture and the advanced HDR (Rich tone) feature, you can stop worrying about the lighting when you are taking pictures outside – capture perfect images every time.

Stay connected
Seamlessly connect with a variety of devices with BLE1 (Bluetooth) technology and share content from one screen to another via Wi-Fi Direct – simply tap the icon to share your tablet screen with your TV screen. Quick Connect allows you to mirror your TV screen on to your tablet or vice versa too.

Smart apps for entertaining

S2 for sure. This is a good tablet for surfing, youtube and basic tasks but not for games

Are there any advantages in buying the Amazon Fire 10 over this?

You can get the Tab2 for 229 curry’s/ Argos/ Tesco

Fire 10 use custom os they don’t use play store which is annoying, better to get Samsung or android tablet

Had this since last year - cracking tablet, massive battery life. Recommended.

Seems to be fairly easy to put play store on fire 10 anyway. I am considering either of the 2 mhself and leaning towards fire 10, mainly because its cheaper

Thanks, ordered. Can anyone please recommend which memory card to use with this (something that won’t slow it down)?

Thanks, ordered. I would like recommendations for an inexpensive case if anyone knows of one, please.

Thanks OP - have been waiting for the "proper" drop

Bought it year or two ago for 142£.Good tablet, with good screen.

I'm quite happy with the Samsung. It's very slim and sleek, feels nice, got it installed/configured in no time. I got a case from Curry's which was supposed to fit any 10" table .... will be returning it on Monday LOL

Yep i just been looking from some reviews for both :

"The major difference between them is that the Galaxy Tab uses a nearly standard version of Android while the Fire uses a heavily modified one. Those who already have an Android phone, especially one made by Samsung, will probably be better off with the Tab A 10.1
On the other hand, Amazon Prime subscribers will find significant advantages with the HD 10 and should gravitate toward that model"

Guess what - i have a Samsung phone , present tablets are andriod and only have prime at moment as its free for month and only going pay for 1 month more so i can gst my xmas shopping quick...lol

Price says £179?
