I assume you will have to keep the tablet for 3 months in order to use the 3 months disney+ on this one, but only at a cost of £1 per month, and for that you also get 250mb data or doubles to 500mb with volt (volt means if you also have virgin broadband) plus if you have another tariff with o2, they will give you a 20% discount on your second line, so only 80p per month for 250mb / 500mb data, plus a nice 4G tablet for the kids for £94

My personal experience is that it’s painfully slow as a tablet and freezes up if you try to do too much on chrome.

I’ve had this and an S6 lite and even the s6 chugged at times.  Lower end Android tablets just don’t seem to be able to cope with much but I guess here at least you’re getting what you pay for.  That said, some of the cheaper ones from China and Korea have actually been faster, even if they do lose a few other features.

Unbelievable that after all this time android tablets are so poor.

I only use Samsung phones but only iPads as tablet.

It's actually a decent little tablet and I was able to pick up a used one from cash converters for £5, yes that's right £5 only because it was Google account locked, but since I can fix these tuings its a bargain. Unfortunately this was a one off.

Yes, it can be a bit laggy so I turned on developer mode and halved the animations to 0.5 making it feel snappy. I also have an iPad but for the photo editing, memes and sharing file's this tablet beats an ipad.50291379-81doz.jpg50291379-3S9yL.jpg (edited)

For watching youtube/netflix it's a perfectly good little tablet but if you want anything more I'd avoid, I've had mine since Xmas and its just too slow with anything else

I've no idea why Samsung don't make versions with more memory available in this day & age.

If you order one of these, don't believe the "in stock" status of the shops if you're choosing click and collect. I tried to order the day before going on holiday from two different shops that had available stock yet both times I received an email immediately afterwards saying there was a problem with my order.

It also happened a third time from a third shop when I returned. Even the shop manager thought it was odd, because they had plenty in stock but my tablet had been mailed to the shop instead!

Had this before I got my Lenovo M10. It's painfully slow. Takes like 4 minutes to turn on, and then another minute or two to even log in. If you want to do anything other than read Ebooks, then it might be worth looking at some thing else.

I needed this for my 2 year old who plays on phones all day. She wouldn't like it if her cocomelon keeps freezing. Is it worth getting to browse YouTube and do live streams

Speak to O2 online customer service to activate volt benefits assuming you have O2 Pay monthly and Virgin Media

My son is 8 at the end of the month and he currently has an old fire tablet, that is limited on apps and slow. Is this the best tablet for around £100?

    Any advice appreciated

I've got this tablet, got it last year from similar deal by switchy for £72. It came with 3 months Disney so overall very good deal.

It's an ok tablet, we use it for holidays and car journeys.

I've also got the main S6 and recently the S6 lite. The S6 lite was £150 from a deal on here and it's a great tablet. If you can wait then I'd wait for another deal for that to come along. It's a much better long term investment for not a lot more.

If you still have a signal.. text them and ask for a PAC code. Buy a PAYG sim and port your number over.

The screen isn't the best quality and it's terribly slow. However, my wife uses it for netflix or as a kindle and it's great for her.

Is it finished? Only shows me £5 plan I can't set the device price to 144 to bring the monthly price down either.

Found it, had to click on pay device in full to open up the options (edited)

Can you basically use this as a phone? Calls, SMS?
Might go this route in my van as a head unit and Bluetooth adapter into aux input.
