I've always thought that a LTE version was more stream lined with less in …I've always thought that a LTE version was more stream lined with less in the way of software apps etc.But it is a higher starting price, and still more after the discount. So can someone please tell me if both were affordable why should i pick the LTE version ? and should i think the same for any model that has that version ?

Surely they’re the same thing but one supports SIM cards??

Depends if you require mobile data enabled device. If you will be using the device in locations where WiFi is available I'd say save your money and get the WiFi only version. That said some LTE device sometimes have better spec (more ram) so worth checking if you do consider for other devices. In this case both WiFi and LTE have 3gb though.

LTE means it supports mobile data, with a plan, as opposed to just WiFi.
