Excellent price. Hot.

Decent tablet despite Samsung's best attempts to cripple it with touch with, and good price. Hot.

iBood are a dutch based company that specialise in one day deals. They have had a couple of very decent offers in the last 6 months featured on hukd

They are on the approved hukd merchant list so are genuine hotukdeals.com/mer…ist

If you look on the Trust Pilot Netherlands site reviews are ok, just ask Maurice

Pay by credit card, better protected!! PayPal doesn't have to (and often won't) protect you, whereas a credit card company is legislated to! Also a quick Google search shows that they are legit! I have used them thrice in the past, no issues whatsoever and speedy delivery! Maybe you should become a mod on here so you can block the companies you haven't heard of?!?!

Hmm, never heard of IBOOD before, not sure about this, I think £30 extra for peace of mind of buying from JL is still a viable alternative.

Can you get the white one or is it just black? doesn't seem to say!

I was all ready for this until they released the tab s 8.4. I think I'll wait until they start dipping under £300 before buying though

iBood have been around for years. I've purchased many an item them. Heat from me

Good price. Not sure about the website.

They have been around for years and I have ordered many items and all is fine, just read the above comments which say exactly the same.

I suspect he meant until the 10 inch version dips below £300, but didn't word it very well ....

Tempted, as I like the size (currently have the 10 inch Note), but I'd miss the s-pen too much ...

Like Flipboard or HTC's UI (name escapes me)?

No they were referring to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 which was released last week and is around £320 I believe.

Correct. Samsung also put lots of efforts into making Magazine UI as laggy as possible. It's just a fancy name for their app homescreen and launcher, and it can be replaced easily with Nova or your launcher of choice though... but you cannot get rid of Touchwiz without flashing a custom ROM.

What's better - this or iPad Mini?

What's better - this or iPad Mini?

Well, that depends largely on your preference of operating system or the nastily so-called ecosystem. Another big difference is the aspect ratio. Android tablets typically use 16:10 widescreen ratios (better for video), while iPad uses 4:3 (better for anything else IMHO).

So, if you're an Android fan or you're going to use this thing mostly for video, get the Samsung (the SD slot makes it a no brainer). Otherwise, I'd get the iPad.

Well, I've been contemplating for a while and couldn't justify the extra £110 for the Tab S so I've ordered! Thanks OP for putting me out of my misery!

Had to bite at this price.

This also has the best screen out of all the tabpro and notepro models, as it uses a standard RGB stripe. The rest of then use pentile, which looks horrid at anything below 400ppi. Unless you're old as hell and have bad eyes that is.

I'd advise anyone buying this to flash the newly released CM11 M8 update. It will rid your device of the disease that is touchwiz.

just use trustploit (tho they where maurices comments from its just hi-liting on)

tho on a whole score ibood.be (if it was com you can look tho up your selfs lol) is 9.2 out of 10 with 80% of 5 start reviews from 68 reviewers and only 1 1 star review and 1 3 star,

i've seen business with far worst TP reviews on here like buy4less ect

tho at the end of the day if unsure via CC direct or at the very lest CC via palpay, than your covered against most outcomes,

tho surely its still better to google yourself and get the 10 inch from amazon.de/.fr at £199, (i dont think they are eu to eu extra costs if so you have a £20 diff anyways, even if they are with 20% would still only be £228, witch is way under the £300 everyone seems to want yet no one googles to find) *tho having looked in to this why i do i dunno, cos i have no use for a tablet, since you would already be paying either DE or FR vat *since amamzon charge you it they just avoid paying what they can in it but anyways*, you shouldnt have anything else to pay since vat is only payible once within the EU on tech just like tobacco drink and the rest)

you have to go to other sellers for the above and find one that does shipping to uk since amazon wont, but there are 2-3 on each fr and de maybe at 5 eur more than base cost

also 30 eur less if you take amazon up on they visa card DE/FR offer (tho not sure if you can get it with only uk bank details, tho you might be able to, im not spending any more time on this cos tablets dont interest me one bit)

a small charge (5 - 10 eur from amazons shipping to uk quotes page),might be added for shipping, tho i have tested via checkout up until the payment info page and nothing has said about extra costs for postage even if it is still a lot cheaper than getting a 10 inch for £300 +

---

going to leave the above, but think i messed up with not reading the word PRO, dislyix sucks at times like that)

Good price, heat added.

Just not sure about ibood though. I bought a deal nearly three weeks ago and it still hadn't arrived. Got notified yesterday that it will be another week before it ships on 14/07. It gave me the option to cancel my order so I did. A month to deliver is just too long and it wasn't like a super fantastic deal either. Paid with paypal but refund processed direct to bank which is odd. Bit of a faff with IBAN and SWIFT codes but their website does provide the proper help and links so happy with that. Got an email today saying order cancelled and refund has been preocessed to bank details provided so I expect it will be there by tomorrow. Mixed feelings about ibood now.

I ordered an ipad air from thus company in may and still have not received it. As far as i am concerned i would never buy anything from this company as they lie from the start then just drag you in thinking it will come and basically say anything or mot reply to your queries. I today have had to ask for a refund as i feel 9 weeks waiting for it they say it will be another week then another week will become another. If you rung they are really rude be warned do noy use this company x

I think robchester was referring to the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and not the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Available since Monday it and its 10" counterpart are widely acknowledged as the finest Android tablets on the market as of now mostly due to the yummy AMOLED display.
Edited by: "littletime" 9th Jul 2014

Very suspicious and poor feedback. Cold.

I had the pro 8.4, but returned it for the new tab s 8.4. Paid £295 (o2 priority moments) which is definitely worth it for the amoled screen, fingerprint scanner, 3gb of ram and all the extras that come with this tab imo.

I'm loving my galaxy tab s 8.4 bronze colour with official case brown But that's a good deal.

Same tablet is only £249 on John Lewis, think I'd probably pay the extra and go with them personally.

Yes I have not got my order from iBood yet

Great deal thanks for sharing, might take the plunge X)
