nice! Just wish you could get this with the note pen, or the note pro 10 with this screen...

Better still

Thanks. I didn't know that! Hope this will help others with no O2 account.

The terms and conditions on O2 priority state that it cannot be used with any other offer. Will it work with £50 cashback?

Just remember to check your spam folder after you submit the cashback!

Even after you get a confirmation saying they've received your application and everything is in order, they might later send another email from a different address asking for the same details. When they did this after I submitted my claim for a Tab 2 it went to my spam folder and I didn't notice it until it was too late.

I'd hate to think they manufactured the second email just to hit something in spam filters but my paranoid side says they did.

Alternatively pay a few hundred quid less and get one which isn't such a stupid price.

I checked Currys this morning to see if they had a new offer on this tablet since the £50 google voucher ended last night, they only had the £20 off voucher so the extra £50 cashback offer is temping.

I have o2 priority moments but think the £30 can only be redeemed instore. I can't see how the £30 o2 discount would void the Samsung £50 cashback as Currys get this money back from o2.

That site has poor information about the company. No postal address, registration or VAT numbers listed so can't be a UK company. If shipped from abroad, will probably be hit with import VAT, and then there's the warranty issues.

This will be a Chinese import, some reviews mention open packaging - rather pay the extra for a UK based reputable company.

Agreed.

Never heard of them, but a quick google search returns a number of unfavorable reviews and looking and at the Terms of Use on their site suggests that they're actually based in Hong Kong.

Looks like the link I put to the T&Cs has been automatically removed too. Presumably they have a bad reputation and HUKD automatically removes any links to them?

This is available from John Lewis for £20 more but for that you receive a third year of warranty.

330 quid for a high end 10.5" tablet with the best display of any tablet to date is actually a very good price. If it's the Hudl 2 you're comparing this to (which is probably the best value budget tablet at the moment), then the Tab S is both in a different category and league to the Hudl 2.

If there is a criticism of the Tab S, it's not this deal's price, but the presence of the laggy/bloaty Touchwiz interface, fixed by either modded stock ROMs (if you really want Touchwiz, but running faster) or CyanogenMod for the vanilla fans amongst us. For those who've bought the Tab S, install Nova Launcher from the Play Store, which will help remove much of the Touchwiz lag.

I would be tempted to use my O2 discount, however terms and conditions below state "which is not sold as part of:another promotion (save for promotions offered directly by the Participating Retailers)"

samsung.com/uk/…pdf

The current £20 off via currys website is a save promotion offered by the retailer but states "plus receive £50 samsung cashback". One promotion is kind of contradicting the other?

I really don't think the O2 promotion would void the samsung cashback. I am still holding on as don't really need the tablet so hoping for a better offer after christmas. I will contact samsung by email to confirm.
