Hahaha!

Drop almost any tablet and the screen will smash ....

I got the 8.4 and 1.5 .... both have stunning screens but I use the smaller one a lot more.

Seems pricey for the screen size, given the glut of tablets this size.

i've got the 8.4 and was initially disappointed with the battery life as i was only getting 4 hours screen on time. After several recharges battery lasts for 6.5 hours and upto 9 days standby.

Just being updated to lollipop 5.0.2 too.

I had the same experience, but now I can watch 10+ hours of video on one charge. Could probably get a longer time if I change the screen's saturation settings

For people like me, 16GB is not enough. I keep music videos on an Micro SD card as well as holiday photos and they take up over 10GB. I did have a 32GB Nexus (2012) and that was great but I now use a Lenovo Tab S8 which was a bargain at £109.99. More than happy with that.

How on earth are you managing that?! I get maximum 4 days standby! I'm selling mine on the For Sale section now

The videos I'm watching can have hardware acceleration activated (uses multiple cores), so 1 hour of video uses less than 10% of the battery. I also use the cinematic mode (higher saturation and more vibrant colours), so if I switch to basic mode, I could probably save a bit more

I was told by EE on buying this 15 hours screen on time minimum, no matter what I was doing and should get a lot more. Once I it was delivered and I set it up I noticed battery life was nowhere near that, and this was without installing many apps at all. I charged it fully and put on youtube and left it on and it died after 3 hours and 25 mins. I phoned EE and told them and they said it must have a faulty battery and sent a new one to swap for it.

On running the new one it was slighty better but nowhere near lasting 15 hours of heavy use. I couldnt say how long it lasts for and I have installed some of the CM tools including Battery Doctor which makes a great difference. But I cant see anyone getting over 15 hours from it.

No idea why they are updating to 5.0.2?? Why bother when it has so many bugs that are to be fixed with 5.1? Should it not just get updated to 5,1?

If its like most projects they done a pull at the start and modified it, tested, packaging, more testing etc. Unless its a show-stopper updating to latest would set them back and miss deadline - to move to another device.
The goal is to get rom out not necessarily have it latest or working 100%.

My bad! Was reading the Nexus 9 post and your comment appeared at bottom?! Seems to be a problem with my phone and/or the app updating!
