I know it's not the current Tab offering but for what I need this for it's more than adequate.

£452 is less than Carphone offer this for SIM free (£470) and similar to many other places SIM free price so to be able to pay it monthly for that much I thought was great.

Car phone shops do not stock tablets so has to be a web order, but gives you 14 days to return that stores don't offer.

I don't understand the cold votes on this, can someone explain?

This is £31 a month at EE.

It's £399 without a SIM slot at Currys.

Seems like a good deal to me, but if isn't I'd like to know so I don't buy it, you've all worried me now! I'm not precious over this deal so I will buy elsewhere if this is rubbish.
It is a great deal, certainly the cheapest available. I spotted this last month but never posted it although at the time I think they were doing the 10gb or 20gb for £21 per month with no upfront cost.
Its cold because the S2 is over-priced like every samsung model. The S2 (and this is wifi) has a value of 150 pounds. For 150 you can get Mediapad or Amazon. At 200 pounds its not bad, especially if it has 4G. So, what is 250 pounds buying you? (Of course, you cannot buy an S2 at 200 pounds, but 400+ pounds? Really? For a 3y old device).

Put a 3-2-1 sim in there and for about 50 pounds over 2y, you have a price of around 250 pounds all in.

CPW are way overpriced for everything.

I see where your coming from Cripsy.

Get the Wifi version, a Mifi and a three data 24GB card from amazon for £44. Should work out at least £100 cheaper and no hassle of contracts and having to deal with EE. You can also use my solution in places like the USA.
Got this tablet through the O2 refresh deal for £200. Unfortunately dropped it and screen cracked. Samsung wanted £200 to replace the screen. It is a good tablet..............but £400+........not for me.
Went for Amazon HD 10 on offer, costing £125 in the end.

Was just a private seller, and the wifi version. However, there are refurbished wifi ones that pop up for £200, like one up there currently from argos.

Again... the wifi version. This is the 4G version. I have one, it's a great tablet. The S3 isn't a massive spec bump.

I don't see the point in a 4g tablet when you can get a large data plan for your phone and just use it as a WiFi hotspot at any time.

I have the 4G 9.7 S2 with data from Three for use when abroad and away from WiFi. Don't want or need a large data plan on my phone which is on O2. Nice to have 2 different carriers in the UK too so that works better for me. Excellent tablet BTW and I have never regretted paying the premium.

I am not saying you can. I am saying this is what (to me) it is worth.
