its a fantastic tablet, real competitor for an ipad, and at a much better price.

I've been keeping my eye on these and waiting for the replactement. Well there is no replacment by all accounts the new model is only available in 10(ish)"

Argos on ebay have a refurb at £260

I've been trying to weigh up between this and the Huawei Mediapad M3 which I can inport for £250 probably +duty

i have been waiting for price drop . amazing tab. great find

these used to be sold by £199 by O2 thus having 4G modem, I would like to by one but the price would have to be 40% lower

I've been looking at the M3 as well and is £300 @ Amazon buy looking for nearer the £250 mark. Where have you seen for £250+ import? If you do import make sure it's not the Chinese version.

Aliexpress, just noticed it's £260 inc the warranty I guess this would be the Chinese version. How can I tell/ what's the difference? I must admit I thought most of the ones on Amazon where probably Chinese sellers.

Note that Argos seem to be selling the original Exynos-based version of the S2 tab from 2015 (model number T710), rather than the Snapdragon-based version from 2016 (model number T713). There's little to choose in terms of performance (the Snapdragon's CPU is a bit faster, but its GPU is a bit slower, and it ships with a 64 bit version of Android), but it may affect the time for which updates are released (i.e. the T710 may stop getting updates first).

This is from Amazon directly, European version.
