I bought one so 9 left at the time of posting
Not bad. Android might even run smoothly on this. Getting a bit too close to a surface 3 though in cost, especially with a student account through MS.
i dont know how Samsung have got away with this as a new model some specs are better on the tab s1
Sadly, the screen for the tab s2 is a pentile arrangement unlike the rgb s-stripe of its predecessor (at least according to Wikipedia). I haven't seen a side by side picture comparison but on paper, the screen quality sounds better on the original tab s 10.5.

Also the UK is not getting a 64gb version (only available in US Best Buy).

I'm unsure whether to wait for the UK price drop of the original tab s 10.5 (those things are still expensive), as I prefer 16:9 for watching movies but the measly 16gb storage puts me off. I might import the US 32gb model.

There's a micro sd slot for expandable memory.
Iv got the tab S.. It's a nice tablet. Although I did oay £280 a couple weeks ago. Only difference is the s2 has a better CPU. While you mentioned, the tab S has a better screen.. Higher resolution, bigger screen.. And better PPI. Runs smooth too.

Micro SD isn't a great storage method IMO. Not all apps are able to install on micro SD and the ones that can, do not necessarily run very well. Personally, I'd rather just have the larger onboard storage.
oh the s2, how I held out so much hope for you
I paid £180 second hand for wifi/3g 10.1 tab s. it is brill
The battery is around 30% smaller over the tab s too. Wonder why they've held back on this. You'd have thought it'd be the same CPU as the s6.

probably for thinner and lighter

probably for thinner and lighter

Makes sense.. I'd not see it as an upgrade getting the s2 though.. Thinner and lighter doesn't mean its better. Think my on screen time (watching BT sport) has been 2 hours 30 - 3 hours. It's only dropped 32%.

Voted hot because its still a decent price.

Samsung dropped the ball on this one. The screen on the S1 is noticeably sharper (checked it in person). Great tablet otherwise, light and finally smooth, but the screen lets it down. Baffling.
Wrong shape - freezing cold!
Backward. Tabs s much more better for watching movies. Cold for Samsung go for the way ipad
