Following on from MrSteveHam's deal on the 8" version:

I thought I'd post this:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 4G LTE 32GB (Grade A Refurb) SM-T815 at O2 Refresh for £197.99, once you pay for the device and then cancel the airtime contract.
Choose the 10GB data tariff, with £29.99 up-front, then 24*£7 for the device.

The best like-for-like price I could find for one of these was £240 from CEX:
uk.webuy.com/pro…2GA
(only one left at the time of writing)

RRP on these is £400+

Grade A refurb usually means an "as new" customer return, usually without the box.

if you are a regular commuter , get 8", If this is going to be used at home, then bigger version. one important thing is that both have same exact configuration, so smaller version has more pixel density..

Ordered! How soon will O2 allow me to cancel the airtime contract?

absolutelylove mine if anything i feel spoilt by the sheer quality of this tablet . i bought mine 2nd hand from gumtree and then got it unlocked from ebay for a few quid. like many people who already have one i cannoy fault this tablet. if only it had a proper desktop browser i probably would not look at getting a laptop.

i wish samsung would price the keyboard a little more in line with what it ahould be and not £110???

How do you get this deal? Showing 26.50 a month after 29.99

Says in the terms that if you cancel you must return the device

That correct both 9.7" and 9" have resolution 2048 x 1536
so the 9.7" Pixels per inch is 263 ppi ; so the 8" Pixels per inch is 320 ppi

1) Follow the get deal button, purchase the £29.99 + £4*24 tariff.
2) Receive your tablet, inspect it if it's in a good (A grade) condition.
3) Put a sim card into your tablet and go online, request the unlock code.
4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.
5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the tablet because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.
6) You own the tablet from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.
7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours.
In first month they might take the airtime from your bank account through direct debit because they generate the bill the next day you apply for a contract, don't be scared as this will be refunded the next month, if not, call them again.

And that's how you get a bargain for your money.

Thanks to iEimis on this thread hotukdeals.com/dea…535

That's OK I can do that

no longer available. it changed while I had it in my basket

Thanks OP, ordered this yesterday evening. Initially had ordered the 8 inch tab from the other deal but after further consideration ordered this one and cancelled the smaller tab.

I am first timer to the O2 refresh but will to follow the steps and hopefully everything should go fine.

Thanks so much - that's really helpful. I have one question: if I use the SIM card in step 2 to order an unlock code (which presumably can be requested via the O2 website?) - will that not incur a data usage charge and hence make me liable for the first month of airtime? Would it be possible/better to do this step over wifi instead?

Yep, OOS

Just order one..not sure if Grade A means the returned items which are not used more than 14 days as that's what O2's return policy is. Also does anyone know is there is any guarantee from O2?

Just rang O2 to cancel the airtime for the tab s2 8 that Ive received, been told returns and retention dept are not available till this evening or may be tomorrow due to system updates. Any one else been told the same?

I couldn't use the o2 app to request a code it was playing up. but sorted with live chat, will call them in the morning to cancel the airtime and pay off the device. Is it possible to just pay the device cost monthly i.e. £7?

Has it got any manufactures warranty?

from O2 website

"Grade A refurbs

As good as new. No scratches, scuffs or chips. Refurbs have been returned to us under a customer's 14 day cooling off period, or warranty replacement. They have been security wiped, run the latest operating systems and come with a 12 month warranty."
