I have to go to EE this weekend and get mine changed luckily its still within warranty but wont turn on. Its a cracking tablet just gutted its not working now.
The Tab S2 is one of the few tech devices which has held its value for a long time. It's a great tab and still worth the money.

I’d take the S2 still. The S3 has a quicker SoC but it’s not even the 835, just the 820 which seems crazy given the price (if it was a phone that would never happen). No idea why Samsung did that, it’s as if they wanted to hand the tablet market to Apple on a plate...

Personally, I preferred the S2. Also, preferred the 8" version which they never did in the S3.
That's a great price. Would've bit at this if I didn't just get one for £260, although that wad the LTE version, I didn't really NEED it.

This would've been perfect at almost£60 cheaper
For anyone interested this appears to be the Exynos rather than the Snapdragon version that came later (T813 I think?). The Snapdragon one runs cooler with longer battery life as it launched 2 years later but otherwise identical.

If you need the stylus then fair enough. But at over twice the price, I would probably just make do. Especially as they aren’t positioning the S3 as a Pro device really. What about the Tab A with S Pen?

And the Exynos version has a slightly better GPU and supports TV out. (Which the Snapdragon version doesn't)

I've already got the Note 10.1 2014 tablet so I think I'll just make do with that until something better comes along at a decent price.

Google how to soft reset first or boot to recovery and wipe cache, might be able to fix yourself with a reboot, ee will send away for repair which may take a week, not exchange, unless it's under a month old, or you can go direct to Samsung repair shop for an hour turnaround
Picked up a new one in gold for 270. Very good tablet unbelievably lightweight. Pretty snappy compared to my Tab S
Bide your time on ebay and you can pick up a used nearly new private sale one on ebay for just over the £200 mark like i did, As long as it's uk original stock then it is covered by the balance of Samsung's two year warranty. Next pick up the excellent official cover from CEX at £15 ish and you are good to go. Can't fault the tablet at all.
2 available as I type this. There was 8 earlier. I've managed to get one
