Looks decent. Nearly £400 for a tablet tho!
£350.00 if you have access to Samsung Perks
I have one of these tablets and no WiFi issues whatsoever :-)
Keep an eye on eBay with all the codes that float about. I got a grade A 128gb model from stock must go for £256. I have also had no WiFi issues at all
Gotta love this site, a second hand previous generation refurbished one with 64g for £287 (with a supposed 30% discount) and a pretty poor 90 day warranty is warm....
A brand new current gen 128g for £102 more, with 24 months warranty from Samsung is ice COLD.
I would expect a second hand refurb current gen for £287.
I've never had the wifi issue either.

Me neither, it's been excellent
Thanks OP I've been looking for a good tablet to watch videos on and this one's tempting.

Does anyone know if they play HEVC 10-bit files with hardware acceleration, preferably using MX Player? If somebody who owns one could check, that'd be much appreciated :-)

Thanks a lot Dave, sounds very promising! My current tablet grinds to a halt on files like these...

Do you happen to know if the S5e was using hardware acceleration? (If not, it'll chew through a huge amount of battery for a 2 hour movie.) An easy way to tell is by playing the test file in MX Player (free on Play Store) and looking for the decoder in the top right of the interface (see screenshot - in this case it's SW). If you could check what it says I'd be extremely grateful, cheers!

Perfect! Thanks so much, I appreciate your efforts. Looks like it's using hardware (HW) decoder so the battery should last 10 hours+ if Samsung are to be believed!
