This is a poor product. Slower processor, LCD screen, nothing remotely comparable to the S6 apart from the pen.

Think it’s worth amending this to reflect its only for Employee programme like perks at work.
Employee discount including blue light card holders like me :-p my Tab S4 has just packed in so very tempted by this!

The S6 128gb LTE was £413 last week. Bargain. On the EPP scheme of course.
Unless you need the pen, still think the S5e is a better buy (albeit you will pay £322 for it on the same employee program).

That said...S4 or S6 are the ones with a decent CPU in them..... My Galaxy Tab S is showing its age so definitely in the market, just cant afford £500+ for a S6 and cant reconcile with the average CPU's in the 5e / Lite..
I wish there was a way to get these discounts without being an employee

Yes....it wasnt last night!

Thanks..looks like at least that one temptation is gone so will actively check for anything coming on the S6 (non Lite)..unfortunately missed the boat on the previous deal.

Hot from me on the S6 Lite for those in this budget
I think Blue Light Card discount is 20% currently - Mrs doesn't have her card yet though so can't check to confirm.

S5e is great. Had mine since it launched and it's still fantastic.

Go for the S4, grabbed one recently from CEX for £250 B grade. It has some marks and dents but with the book cover can't see them anyway, for that price is the best option imo as it has a hp jack and better chipset compared to the S5e.
I'm hoping for a good deal somewhere on the S6 256GB version 🤞🏻

Just wanted to clarify these offers are specifically for students and employees of samsung /NHS?
I have a Tab S3 I'm selling if anyone is interested. Just bought a S6 so looking to sell.

I believe you can still use the online deals before the card arrives

We tried last night but the card hasn't been sent yet so we can't unfortunately. You may be correct during the time between the card being issued and arriving. Hopefully it will come soon. She's only worked for the NHS for about 5 years, been nagging her to sort one for ages!

Selfridges have the 256GB version at £586.00 which is a shade over £100 cheaper than any other main retailers. Not sure whether that is a good deal worth nibbling on or if any sales are likely to pop up soon?

I was able to use the online access from signing up (I had to log on via the website though, I don't think the app worked until I got the card) but they may have changed it. Haha, took me 8 years to order mine so I can't say anything!

Lots of large companies use outfits such as Rewards Gateway to provide their employees perks, so worth checking if yours is one.
Dreadful spec worse that a TabS2 let alone the S5e
I've been looking at those S6 and S5e deals and almost clicked on the S6 LTE 256gb one, but then still in doubt if even the best Android tablet is worth such money nowadays..I'm not an Apple user and only used android or linux or sometimes windows. I'm wondering what and if a good 2-in-1 windows-based replacement could exist, as thin as possible near the portability of the S5e/S6 with decent performance AND the active digitizer screen and stylus. I don't need anything more than 11"ish and even 10" would suffice, but wanted long battery e thinnest possible chassis. I have a broken old Note 2012 and a Note 9,plus a Tab Pro 8.4 and other laptops, but always wanted something lightweight as those S4/S5e/S6 tablets. Still think I wouldn't spend more £350 on any of them, included keyboard, not because of stinginess but due to the fact that even with DeX mode they are still not comparable to a proper full OS. If I have to sacrifice something due to OS limitations than I don't want to spend a leg just because of the form factor and lightweightness. Don't know if one of those Chromebook touch with pen might be my cup of tea or if seeking forever for slim windows 2-in-1 alternatives without much hope of achieving similar results through virtualization/dual booting of Android.
I might pay £350 for brand new wifi/lte S4 including Keyboard and all, but that's the limit I've decided to be worthy.
Any thoughts?

What is the difference between the lte and wifi apart from the price
I get it isn't comparable to other models. But if you wanted to go sub £300, have someone working NHS, and wanted the kids to BBC bitesize/ assigned learning via purple mash / web browsing when they could do s hool work to give you a break/ occasionally internet bank and order online shopping, I find it hard to split this from a current iPad. The novelty of the pen can't be ignored in the current telling your ten year old to do something to leave you alone! What am I missing between this an the cheapest iPad??
I've just had my book cover claim rejected as I "used in conjunction with another offer" ie the 15% student discount. Beware.
I got the book cover claim validated with the 15% discount from my company's staff shopping portal.
Not sure how long I'd have to wait for the delivery though (within 45 days in email) but the tablet got delivered the next day.

Only diff is that you can shove a SIM in the LTE for data on the go.
Everything else is identical
