Can be used as a second monitor to a laptop. Can use to emulate old consoles and are great for magazine subscriptions as the resolution is amazing. Not to mention great for sketching/illustrating on.
lots of digital artists use them instead of a pen display or surface, if you don't need a full windows experience you're looking at half the cost of a comparable surface pro
Apart from a great YouTube, Netflix, and amazon prime experience. You could game on it, and can use it as a daily driver with ms office, outlook, ms teams, onedrive, and zoom.
And if you're bored then could always browse the Internet!
After my daughters surface Pro failed last semester I got her a Lenovo android tablet with keyboard, stylus and mouse. And she's loving it way more than the ms surface!.
I've had a few German Samsung phones and I've been able to change the language when first powered on and it's been no issue after that aside from some additional default apps although I don't think there were any on the last one I bought.
I find them useful for content consumption (watching videos, reading magazines etc.) where I don't have space for a keyboard/mouse or don't want the additional bulk. I have the S7+ set up on my desk alongside my main PC setup so I can easily watch videos or flick through content and it's fantastic for that, great screen and sound and not bulky for when I take it away. I've tried a number of Windows 10 hybrid PCs and the big problem I find with them is they're awful as touch only devices. They made a lot of improvements to the touch interface for Windows 8 as well as a lot of mistakes but unfortunately for Windows 10 they fixed many of the mistakes but they also took away the improvements as well.

I've the 5g version- I use this for pretty much everything, surfing, media, photo editing, gaming as a second screen etc. Dex make this quite Windows like.
