Now further reduced to £499 at Currys. Plus 8.8% Quidco available for the next 18 hours or possibly 10% until 9am (not sure if it's classed as a windows laptop or not?!)

Seems like a good deal to me if you're after a decent spec 2 in 1.

Very good price on a tab that Which gives a higher rating than the surface pro 4. I cant seem to checkout on the Currys website.

How fast is the m3 processor?

I've not used it myself but reviews seem to suggest it runs normal Windows tasks fine but will struggle if you start doing video editing etc. CPU benchmark is just over 3000.

Still cant check out on Currys.

Thanks. On its way with dpd. Nearly jumped at 550 last week!

I did but reordered now. This is much better than the m3 surface on many fronts. Especially as that is very hard to use as a tablet

Heat added although I didn't buy it (came pretty close, in front of the machine after reserving). It lacks full size USB sporting a single USB C port for everything. The keyboard/stand is lacklustre. Also a compatible pen is not easy to find. Was £849 though...

The keyboard gets mixed reviews. Can I ask what is the pen used for?

Pen is for note taking. For a student it's better to take notes with pen (scientifically proven that you'll remember and understand better).

Is this a Android tablet. Been looking for a tablet and prefer android to apple so I can watch movies via showbox etc etc

Got an OLED Screen that looks better than anything , once you go OLED you can't go back

Which? says:
"The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is one of the best tablets on the market, and certainly the best big-screen one. It stands out in almost every aspect - its design, display and performance are all exemplary. Its only slight niggles are a sub-par web-surfing experience when the keyboard is detached and battery life that is no better than average".

On battery life it says 71/2 hours watching video or 41/2 surfing.

It suggests trying the keyboard before buying.

This tablet has an AMOLED screen which is slightly different from an OLED screen.

The screen on this looks great, also thinner than a surface pro 4.
Keyboard is a bit too flat though, and not really made for typing whilst on the go.

Whilst the surface 4 isn't perfect either, it has the best keyboard for a tablet/2-in-1

Definitely try it out in store if you can before buying.

What about one of these? Obviously, it's not going to be as good in terms of hardware / build quality but dual Windows/Android is pretty useful and you do save £350....

True.Im a bit scared of the screen burn. However you lose the quidco. Which at 10% is £50 you can probably get it insured for that price.
