Might explain why many user dont make it past their first deal. I to had to learn the hard way lol. Just noticed that there is a hotukdeal note at the bottom of page informing people that it's a first time deal
Good deal.....do I get this one or the 4G version? I'm on the wrong network (O2) atm but that could be fixed in February.
Same price on John Lewis website, in addition comes with 2 years warranty. Tried posting yesterday however post was rejected. Currently still available. Bought 2 yesterday.

These come with a 2 year warranty with Samsung anyways
Honest opinion. Looking for a good deal on Apple Watch. Is this a good alternative?
How much is the 4g version ?!
That’s a much better watch

Only better if you are on Vodafone or EE and using a galaxy smartphone

You can make & take calls on the 4g ..good as a mobile but on your wrist

Why do you think only EE?

Ah wasn't sure about making but thought you can receive calls on normal too?

Don't think it's been written on here in a few different posts, that's the only two providers that work for the 4g one

There is no good alternative to Apple Watch. It is miles ahead of anything else. If Samsung hasn’t rammed tizen down our throats this might have been. No google maps etc like on android wear. I own it btw. It’s a nice watch and when I used a Note 9 it has it uses, but Apple Watch is just a brilliant product.
Make sure you read the instructions thoroughly.
It say water proof to 5 ATM on box and the website specs making you think it's good for swimming straight out of the box.
You'll find that you have to water lock it via an app on the watch itself.
I found out the hard way while in the pool on holiday.
Luckily got it exchanged for a new one when I got back.
All in all this was a fantastic upgrade from my Huawei Watch W1
Furthermore it's getting an UX upgrade

Great first post OP
Does this work with a Huawei P30 Pro?

Yeah but the apple watch is significantly more expensive, I'm guessing at least double the price with battery life not as good as this one. I've got the 42mm of the Samsung watch with the note 9. It really depends on what you want from the watch, the apple watch is a lot more closer to replicating a phone whereas this is more of a phone companion.

Valid points. The series 3 is £199 too.
My wife owns this and i have a Huawei Watch Gt 2, and evan though the gt 2 is slower i would still say it is alot better due to having android wear rather than tizen which tbh nobody wants , Samsung pay doesnt work with natwest too.
Showing £199.99 on Currys website unless I'm missing something. Amazon have got this for the round £199 so cheaper there.

Only ee and Vodafone have the sims needed apparently for 4g version. Other networks, can only make calls via your phone.
Same price on Samsung site and can also do trade-in at least £50
I heard that battery life on the Galaxy Watch is very poor (1-2 days max), can anyone who owns one confirm how long a charge tends to last?

I owned the 46mm for a few days before sending it back because it was 2 big for my wrist, used 18% in 30 hours..

Maybe you are thinking of 42mm as the 46mm does last a bit longer than that
Can someone provide an honest review of the battery life for the 42mm? I've heard some shocking things!

I dont know what people expect?

I have the 46mm and with always on display i get 3 days max, and that's not full days.

However its not an issue. It gets put on the wireless charger at night.

I charge my phone more. Granted I use it more.

Think people still expect the battery life of a black and white pebble .
Extra 10% off for blue light card holders. Got the 46mm for £179.10

I've had the 42mm one for a year now. Honestly speaking the battery is crap. I can't compare to android wear or apple watch as I've only ever had a Fitbit charge 2, then Samsung gear fit 2 pro and then this. I'm not overly fussed by the battery if I'm honest. Battery for me max is 1.5 days so that means charging it every night. I no longer wear it at night for sleep monitoring so don't mind charging it at night.

Hmm do you have all notifications and vibration mode on? I have WhatsApp, texts, calls, sports notifications all on. I don't have on always on display. Must admit I'm really tempted by the 46mm or moving over to android wear
