I've been watching this for a while now, didn't really think it would drop any lower. They have a lot a roos many stores too, being A Grade they should look brand new with everything in box.

There will be alot of these dumped in CEX as people will be getting the new galaxy s20. Samsung have an offer on to claim a free active watch worth £199.
Have anyone noticed how much cex is buying them for £19

I paid about £75 for one new on eBay but Grade A from Cex would is a better option for the warranty. Voted HOT.

A word of warning: I purchased mine for offline Spotify, so that I could go for a run without my phone, paired with my Samsung Galaxy Buds. Bluetooth (audio) performance between the watch and the Galaxy Buds is terrible when running outside, so much so that I have stopped using the watch and started carrying my phone again, the audio skips and stutters like I'm carrying a 90s discman. I think this is an issue with the watch and not the buds, because I don't have the same issue when using the buds with my phone or iPod. Very disappointing considering the buds and watch are designed to work seamlessly with one another.

Everything else is decent, I was worried about battery life based on reviews but I find it to be fine, using about 50-60% in a day with 45-60 mins GPS tracking (HR turned off when not exercising). So charge every night but not the end of the world if I miss a charge. GPS tracking is also excellent, I use the Map My Run app and its great, tested the Strava app and it also worked fine.

So if you want notifications on your wrist and a decent sports watch for pretty cheap, but if you want to go phone free and listen to audio while you run get something else.

Is it the Gen 1 or Gen 2 they are giving away for free? I looked through the terms of the offer and couldn't find it confirmed anywhere

Can you try wearing your watch on the other hand? (for the sake of testing at least)
The right bud might be connecting to your watch on the left wrist and relaying the connection to the other bud.

I haven’t tried that but I’ll give it a go next time I’m out for a run. I thought it may have something to do with the wrist movement but I’ve been unable to find any info on the issue or get a reply on the Samsung forums.
I've got one of these, I got it free with my Note 10. Decided to keep and it really glad I did. Great looking watch and loads of functionality. Well worth the £. Voted hot!
Got this I hate charging it every day, battery life sucks, I hardly use it to check time, the screen is on lowest setting, my galaxy watch lastested at least 5 days.

I had the same experience - AOD off but HR on. 100% at 8am. 45 minute run with GPS. Battery at 20% by around 5pm.
Bought. 24 month warranty. Links to any android phone and looks nice.
Excellent! Was planning on getting an Active 2 but for the difference in price have opted to settle for this one just now and hope that there's a good deal on Black Friday for me to upgrade!

To be honest I always carry a phone when running anyway. I have a Fenix 6 Pro and the music isn't great on that either, it hammers the battery and the UI is lacking. I think poor music over Bluetooth is something specific to watches as there are always niggles like this - some watches and some headphones work well but not all.

Anyway, as a smartwatch, this is a really nice bit of kit - looks good and cheap enough that you don't need to panic over it too much. They didn't change a lot between this and the Active 2 so not missing out on much.

Maybe you got a duff one? I done 5k this morning and wearing as normal all day. HR and stress levels always on, AOD off and auto brightness and currently 61%... was fully charged yesterday before I went to bed as I like to look at the sleep info.

It's possible, but after reading plenty of similar complaints it was enough confirmation bias for me to move it on

Mine's the same terrible battery barely lasts a day with doing nothing, don't wear it half the time as i feel i'm having to charge this as often as my phone, great price on this none the less.
