Students only deal on a £1,299.99 mobile, what the hell does a student need a mobile like that for?

I thought they were always complaining about tuition fee's and not having any money..
I like the look of this, it's the first Foldable I'm actually tempted by, has the right specs (unlike the Razr) Snapdragon 855+ with a flagship camera and decent ish battery.

Fingerprint sensor on the side (best place for it) and it looks a lot more sturdy with the "glass" screen, as opposed to that thin flimsy plastic in the fold.

Obviously the price is still absurd, but Samsung have done well here methinks.

Saw this earlier. Is a pretty good deal but if I was a student still I probably couldn't afford it.

Would like if Samsung gave a discount to buy outright but doesn't seem likely.

So apparantly it has the snapdragon 855+, such a shame that it's not the snapdragon 865 of 2020 flagships, but still good since atleast it's not exynos like the s20s. I think in a few months it should be under £900. I bought the Samsung galaxy Fold 1 month after the revised release, and it was selling in Samsung for £1999, i got it for £1450. Now its like £1200-£1300.

Theres also that trade in a no-value phone offer which samsung will probably do soon

I know people hated the Samsung fold. But I honestly had it and could not find that many faults, and it opening up to a big tablet was pretty perfect. Snapdragon 855 powered through all games too. I wish they made the. Samsung fold 2

Most people who have student discount ain’t students (example me) lol

I'm still amazed at these student discounts on expensive tech items like this. If you are a student and can afford a Samsung fold with a 20% discount, then you are doing pretty well for yourself already.

Yes I also heard that its gonna be called Winner 2. Can't wait if its confirmed, I had so much fun with the galaxy fold.

Guess you haven’t been a student in awhile. Everyone spunks their student loans on big purchases :/ mine in 2009 was Mac Pro lol

We got rid of hinges years ago, they suck.... no advantage to it.
Given this has no 5G and proper front screen like the Motorola latest foldable it is not bad for a 1st gen fold flip phone by Samsung

My other half gets student discount while only going one day a week. Rest of the time she works as a developer.

I tried to get a look at one today to decide if I fancied it. Want the limited edition but 2300 is a lot for something I haven't seen in the flesh yet.

Yeah, that limited edition looks nuts.

My problem is I have the watch and headphones so I'd be paying that for a phone and a nice box(giggity).

It doesn't though it's thick.
What students can afford £67 a month on a phone? I'm on a nice wage and I still wouldn't go over 40

Students who are doing work sponsored training.

Adult students.

Part time students with full time jobs.

Students with better than nice wages.

Not all of them but not none.
Y’all know not all students are skint?

This is one of the worst things I have ever read on thus site....
Even after 20% off, EE are still very expensive. You need at least 40% off to make it worthwhile.

You'll be surprised how many people have it in for students and "millenials" on here.
This is a debt trap.
