Just got a message from EE:

Hi , Save £99 on the Samsung Gear 360 2017 Camera at EE. You can add it to your plan for just £10 per month for 11 months interest free. Call 08009566019 within the next 7 days. Standard delivery charges apply. Other terms apply, see discover.ee.co.uk/48R…4m1 Text STOP to 1234 to opt out from marketing.

I do not know if this is customer specific. I did not call them so just assume that delivery charge would be about £5

Upfront cost of £19 also ...

Has to be as part of an ee contract as far as I can see :

If you’re a new or upgrading customer signing up to a 24-month pay monthly handset plan in store or an upgrading customer selecting a new handset plan over the phone, you can choose to add a premium accessory to your plan and pay for it in 11 monthly instalments instead of one upfront payment.

I really struggle to see the point of these, is it just me? They seem like a toy that would be worth a 'play' at £10 or so.

Haven't voted either way by the way, it might be a good deal for one.

For sure EE customers only as this is contract add on. I'm 7 months into contract so not only recent upgrade.

I buy in to all sorts of gadgets when they come out (still regretting the bloody Go Pro), and yup can't quite for the life of me work out what the point of this is, even the Samsung rep at the experience pop up store had no idea who would use it.

I thought 360 cameras were for VR purposes as a possible use, could be wrong though

Brilliant little camera, I put one in a production saloon race car, you can then relive the race in full 360, looking round you like you were in the car, in full 4k.
A bit tied to the Samsung world though.

Hot from me.

I read somewhere that the 2017 version has apps for iOS and Android ...

wonder can i add this before i move my sim in a couple of weeks.. assume they'd just bill me for the final cost

It must be customer specific as I just rang EE and they said they haven't even heard of the deal... Only a deal for a CAR headset
