Samsung Gear Fit for £99.99 - £80 off with O2 Priority Moments

Found 1st Jun 2014
O2 Priority Moments are giving O2 customers £80 off a samsung gear fit in store making it only £99.99 which compared to the Nike Fuel Band does a lot more for your money and its a snazy looking watch too. Bear in mind you will need to be sure you have a samsung compatible device but for the price it could make a great gift for someone else or be a little selfish and treat yourself to one.

Head over to the app to obtain the code and then head into a store that stocks them and you good to go.

Regards

Thanh

hot gadget.I'm using one with an M8.
Just needs gear fit manager sideloaded onto a handset running kitkat.

are these any good?

They are pretty good and better than the nike fuel band which cost more. If you have a compatible phone to pair this to then it's a good companion to have. Reviews where a little down due to lack of gps and battery life as well as having to use the dock to charge it but seeing this in person the screen is incredible and the update to allow the screen vertical has made it very ergonomic. Personally I think for the price it is worth it. Getting mine tomorrow after seeing one during the UK launch.

Was playing with one in local Samsung store. Would go well with my S5. Shame I'm not in O2.

there was a work around posted on here: hotukdeals.com/mis…919

no need to be on o2 no more!

Great deal, like the look of this one. But I think I'm going to hang fire and see what else comes up before the end of the year.

heat added though.

Heat, eapecially as i sold one on eBay last night for 130 BIN within 3 hours of listing.

Just had one delivered for £131 from Amazon.de.....that beat anything else UK based by at least £25. This is a great deal.

The device does a bit more than I thought. You can customise which apps can send notifications to it. You can read WhatsApp messages, but not see the pictures...

Battery life seem good. Charged it Saturday morning and it was 43% just now late Sunday evening. Been using it fairly heavily too.

I was about to post this deal, I got the last one in stock yesterday in Manchester city center and I have to admit its an unbelievable gadget. Battery life is awesome, you can reply to msg with 2 clicks and I was just now using it as a remote for Netflix through Chromecast on my TV. The applications are awesome.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. Money well spent!

can i use this as a remote for google play music on my s4?

Christ this is tempting. Just wondering how well it works with a z1

tempted shame it wasn't money off the Gear 2 as been looking at them.

Can they be modded yet?

I'd have been interested if it was universal, about to replace my s3 and don't fancy another Samsung.

it can work with other branded phones

Good deal and I would normally get this in a flash but heard that the heart rate monitor & pedometer are not accurate which would be pointless

Does anyone know if this works with the Galaxy S4

Yes it does. samsung.com/glo…tml bottom of the page.

somewhat tempted, but it seems more worth it if youre after the fitness features as opposed to a smartwatch

Agreed. I'm going to dump my iphone soon for a droid but I'm waiting to see what android wear is like on the lg & moto

yeah, i just tried it and it works just fine, the only limitation is it can only control up to 10 applications at a time, so as long as you select it should be fine. For Samsung devices it synchronizes with S health just fine, even tracking sleeping patterns you just need to install the latest version of Samsung Gear Fit Manager and not the Samsung Gear Manager. I mention it because there is some confusion on the internet that it only works 100% with the S5. I use the GN3 btw.

I find these watches too gimmicky. I used to have the Galaxy Gear and it wasn't really useful for anything in my life. People who want fitness watches can buy them cheaper anyway.

Thanks

That's just a dodgy link costs £134 what a scam

Lol. I just read the description carefully and it looks like it would cost £173 for the watch.

1) £34 for the link
2) £139 for the watch
3) Total £173

Good one..thanks

Stock just updated!!!!! 995 left!!!!!

Great price if you absolutely want it (I did) but the reviews are not that good - the software may be fixed true but knowing Samsung they will just release a new version fixing the issues and abandoning this one... Might wait for Gear 2 to come down in price - sure not the same product but that one seems to work better.

I just want to add that the problem with this review (and usually with most of them) is that the reviewer uses an old samsung phone, in this case S3. A 2-year old phone that costs less than the Gear fit itself. I personally use the Galaxy Note 3 and I the majority of these problems dont exist. I assume the same stands for S5 as well. If you have other phones than those two, expect some problems here and there even though that Samsung claims they are supported.
