Voted hot for the price.... Wish I could vote cold for the seller.
Yay, yours and my favourite far-eastern dodgy website Toby Deals
Does the battery life rhyme with light?
Sorry good price but won't be a uk version and from Chinese seller... Cold.
Oh, that has well and truly put my smart watch gift choice on hold!

LG Watch Sport vs Huawei Watch 2 vs this, at £100 less!
((see other hukd threads for deals/advice on the others!))
That does look good!

You can. If the seller's reputation, or your experience with the seller, outweighs your positivity regarding the price, then vote cold.

That is how voting is supposed to be applied; not just on price alone.

Depends how you're judging it.

Compared to a standard watch, which will last years, then yes.

Compared to a smart device, constant screen on and constant bluetooth connection, then no.

Voted hot for the price and price alone because it is a good price, I've never had dealings with Toby, and I never would, same with eglobal, buybox, etc. etc.

Mentioned this before on other thread- lg watch sport not being released in UK.

Go with the huawei 2, a lot smaller than the samsung, and cheaper in sport model.

So I could post a deal much more over rrp from say amazon and because the seller is good, I'll get heat? Course I won't. Another perfect example of people knowing nothing about the heat system
Be careful with the seller. If it looks too good to be true and all that. There’s a few sites like that where prices are vastly lower and I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them
My frontier arrived yesterday by DPD. Excellent value and appears to be UK variant - search For post about Samsung Oddyssey for more info on TobyDeals.

I think there is somewhere on the samsung warranty page you can put the serial number in to check if it has a UK warranty.

If you are referring to me, I believe you are misinformed.

Of course items above the Suggested/Recommended Retail Price (that is just an arbitrary amount anyway) will not receive positive votes (unless the item is hard to find, such as a collector's item, or a rare issue).

However, anybody is entitled to vote negatively against any element (or, in some cases, any unrelated element) of a particular "Deal"; the specific merchant included.

PS.

A previous thread of note...

"Can we please have the rules/guidelines on Voting made more clear??" (lost in a few site re-designs in the last twelve months)

Specifically, comment #56...

Taken from the original help & advice panel-

If you are cold voting a deal, it is good forum etiquette to post a note in the deal as to why you have done so. There is nothing more confusing to a new member, than to post a deal, only to see it go cold with no explanation. If you found the item cheaper elsewhere, please let us know where and how. If you have no interest or knowledge about the deal at all, please don’t vote cold, just move on.

HUKD has systems in place to detect serial cold voters, and it may lead to a ban from the forums, as it is against the code of conduct.

If members feel an apple product, for example, is comparable with another item and they do not think the apple represents good value, then of course they should state that within the thread. However we cannot be too strict with regards to forcing members to justify their votes. It will be detrimental to how the site works and the organic nature in which "hot" deals are voted as such.

Damn! I was hoping you were going to say you couldn't do it because it wasn't a UK model, so I could ignore buying it.

Grrr...
Great design and looks. But cold for me without android wear at this price point.
PS. Was reading all the Terms & Conditions on the TobyDeals site & a pop-up offered me "2% Discount — On any purchase over £199.

*Offer not valid in combination of other promotional activities"

It may be worth hanging about on the site for a while if you are planning to purchase anyway.

Was yours delivered from the UK then?
Tracking History is from UK - I think Toby maybe imports these in bulk for resale?

Great price. Unsure of seller though.....but, heat added - its only fair !
Would samsung pay work on these? As they are imports?
I'm still skeptical if it's a UK watch.

Why are you still? People bought it, posted their reviews and you still doubting if it is UK or not?

Shipped from the UK doesn’t confirm that it is a UK watch. Just because the code has been validated on the Samsung website doesn’t confirm it is a UK watch. Read the reviews online about Toby deals and make up your own mind, these are probably imported from the UAE and won’t support Samsung Pay in the UK. Apart from that they should function OK. I’m not prepared to spend £210 to find out - my decision.
