This is deal of the day 👏👏. Well done Chanchi Guru
This or huawei watch 2?
Can you buy additional straps for this? Blue seems abit bright for me.
Considering this is the old watch that came out in 2017, not the newer sport active or sport active 2. Avoiding this would be best

any 20mm watch strap will fit
Heat added - Thanks for this, finally a decent priced replacement for my pebble (r.i.p)
I bought one about 6 months ago and it still runs great. Preferred the looks and rotating bezel (and price) over the Active.

Sigh

Just because it's old doesn't mean it isn't functional as a sports watch. Connect it to Strava while doing exercises with it's decent battery life will do the job.

What sort of battery life you getting between charges?

I remember having the Gear Fit Pro 2 (or something like that) and I had to charge it twice the first day, baring in mind I was using it often for gym tracking and music. But it put me off big time wanting to keep it so sold it 4 days in.

I have this and the battery lasts around 60 hours.

What sort of usuage you doing with it? and it says swimproof, so I'm guessing I could take it into the pool?
I've been swimming in the sea with it with no problems.
Cheers chanchi!

I get 3 days under light use with sleep tracking on.

But bluetooth music drains it fast, i have to make sure have at least 50% battery before the gym because it will drain within 2 hours.

Thanks for the reply, just checked a review, and my gut instantly told me I don't need one. I'd like one, but wouldn't use it to it's fullest. It wouldn't change how I do things in the gym, as I'd still take my phone with my onto the gym floor, outdoor sports (skating) I got BT5 ear budds, so I'd still be connected to those, and I'd be scared to fall and smash the watch.

Think the con's will outweigh the pros for me, but it sounds like an amazing device for cost, just not something I actually need.

Must not buy another fitness watch lol

This or huawei watch 2?

I had the Huawei Watch 2 and sold it after I bought the Gear Sport.

I found Wear OS had a lot of disconnects and missed notifications. I've haven't had anywhere near as many with the Gear Sport.
How does this compare to Garmin VIVOACTIVE 3?
I was looking at this and ended up going for a garmin vivoactive music 3 for £175 so this is annoying.

Can't complain about that price at all.
FrozenFire16/01/2020 14:11

Atleast double the price of this ...

Nah I've got hw2 and it cost me 60 quid. Its not bad, but if this is better I'm still in window for returns.
Never buying a Samsung watch again , I had Samsung gear 2 and it is incompatible with all Samsung tablets .. same company and none bothered for this issue.. I bought Huawei gt2 which works like a charm with Samsung S3 tab !

Oops. I thought GT2.
I would go with this one.
Is this compatible with iphone?
This or amazfit GTS?
KingOfCaledonia16/01/2020 15:31

This or amazfit GTS?

The Amazfit has much better battery life, at a cost of features. No NFC or music playback, etc
Looks like a Panerai. Tempted.

I picked this up as a refurb for £65, as a replacement for a Ticwatch E which I just wasn't getting on with, I have to say this 10x the watch, in every way than the Ticwatch, and it's not only about about performance, it's just that Tizen seems to be better than Wear OS. Samsung have done a great job with build quality too. For some reason I thought this watch was going to be too small, but it's fine unless you really do prefer massive watches, the slightly smaller screen in comparison to the Ticwatch was barely noticeable. I suppose it helps that I have a Samsung phone, but even if I didn't I'd use this. I think it's a bargain at this price.

Worth mentioning that the Active now has a touch bezel too like the Active 2 - Samsung added the feature literally a day ago, as I updated mine last night!

Still, I do think a manual rotating bezel is a good thing and probably easier to use in most cases. Also, the consistency of strap sizing across all of Samsungs 'sportier' smart watch models is pretty great as it means other straps are easy to come by.
Ok... makes up for lack of Active watch I'm getting with the Note 10+ buds/watch/tradein debacle!
Thanks OP.
How does this compare with the one they are giving away with the S10 at the minute?

I'm holding out for an S10 on EE with 30gb with free handset but been nothing since the middle of last month.
everything is perfect except the battery life.
Does it connect to iPhone?
I see it has NFC in it, but can you pay with it (Gpay)?
Hi
is this better then Fitbit Versa lite?
Sold out

I bought it, and know I am asking me the same, can I pay with the watch if I have a Pocophone??

If it's pure Android then yes
Managed to order earlier today might be old but time never goes out of fashion.

Already have a Huawei W1, which I love!

Wanted something a bit more rugged.....but not sure about Tizen though.....
