Great price - anyone used this company before?

great price, same as above, never heard of them

If you have free delivery with SCAN (AVForums/Hexus) it's £74 (next day delivery, from a known company).

Good price if you don't though.

yes I have used this company several times, ordered over 500 pounds worth of stuff from them. Shipping is quick. Only one problem is the order tracker is not brilliant. But I would recommend this company

Good price, depends whether you need storage space or speed for this price. F2 versus F3. (1.5TB v 1TB)

This is just how much they cost - nothing special about the price at all.
I got 2 from Ebuyer last week for the same price, and I could have got them from a few places.

I've put mine into a Readynas Duo to replace 2 x 500gb barracudas, and I don't notice any performance difference - good or bad.
They are a bit noisier though, nothing major, and my readynas still sits next to the sofa behaving itself, but definitely more of a hum coming from it.

Incidentally, for anyone doing the x-raid expansion you'll not notice any difference in the total size after upgrading until you do a re-boot with a volume check. I nearly had kittens when after upgrading to 2 x 1.5 TB disks I still only had a few gb free.

I'd personally much rather have a Raid0 setup of a 500 gb and a 1 tb drive than this, but maybe that's just me. Alright for backup purposes.
