Hot price but i preferred the original odyssey without the filter and much more comfortable.
I upgraded to this from my original vive. The upgrade in screen was superb . I do miss the tracking of the vive though. Hot deal!
This appears to be a tethered headset......In that you need a high end PC to run it.

There are now so many different types that you need to be careful.

1. Tethered - need a high end PC or Console PS4 - Oculus Rift or HTC Vive or PSVR
2. untethered - but need a phone to run it - gear vr or Google daydream
3. Untethered - standalone with tracking and controllers - like Oculus Quest

Good luck

the quest - also can be tethered to a pc so possibly best of both worlds but that’s the decision
I picked one up in a previous sale. The screens and optics are great! The controllers however are dreadful! Returned it for a refund and replaced it with a Quest, never looked back.
PSA: a 1060 will push enough pixels to run a Windows Mixed Reality device. If you want to experience VR then WMR devices are an excellent point of entry. I would also highly recommend them for anyone who wants to try a VR headset for flight, space, driving, etc sims where the poor controller tracking that let's the kit down is not an issue. I have a £100 lenovo explorer that I use almost exclusively for Elite Dangerous and have zero regrets hahaha.

Yes all WMR (WIndows Mixed Reality) headsets are PC "tethered" headsets.

2060 Super + WMR + Flight stick + Driving wheel, barely touched motion controls in months.

no more at that price
Expired as the price has gone up now.
Anyone decided to pay monthly gbp8 for extra futures like cellular backup and calling 3 phone numbers in case of alarm activation?
