Thanks @jnkinnear pretty decent soundbar for the price
I've been eyeing this one up, be interested to hear opinions of it.

Looks like coffee HELLO15 will find first timers another 15% off the too.
I'm very happy with mine, although I think I got mine slightly cheaper as the price will dip down a little below this on sale.

Got this cheaper through curry’s. Can’t fault it though. Good sound. Simple but effective. Set it to neo dts 2.5.

Got this Black Friday around the same price, reduced from £299.99. I’m very pleased with it and think it looks and sounds great.

... I have one but can't seem to get any real base out of it .. how do you change to dts 2.5 ?or get a good base
Iv already got this and it’s great nice smooth bass decent sound and one of the best ones Iv heard
I have this and it's amazing. Got this around Christmas for £129 from Curry's. Well worth the price at £159.
Great sound bar, but be aware I do not think the rear surround sound Bluetooth speakers that work with this model are available any more.

The K prefix denotes the year the product was released so M is later.

I think it is the SWA 8000S rear speaker kit that works with this sound bar.

Confusingly the SWA 8500S or SWA 9000S do not work with this sound bar

It took me ages to find a second hand rear set for mine and the Samsung website can be a little confusing when trying to establish which rear kit fits with which sound bar.

If you just want the sound bar then go for it, but if you want surround sound I would go for one of the later models

Check the tv sound settings. 2.5 is only available when it’s connected. On my Samsung tv that is anyway. There is definitely bass there I have mine on 0 and it’s still good
^^ I'll give it a try, I have a samsung tv but have the bar connected straight to virgin box via optical cable. Do you connect TV to bar via HDMI / Bluetooth or optic - I've tried every thing and base still sounds week.

whats annoying is I got the same bar for my in laws and connected it to their samsung tv through blue tooth and it sounds amazing - maybe its the shape of my room

Great info on the surround sound kit thanks. Just had a look and there seems to be a plentiful supply of both new and second-hand units on eBay.
Sounds crap had it took it back the best so far is the LG HS9 sound great and lovely base . 700 Watts I do have Bose sound bars and the LG is much better wakes the Neighbours up .

Yeah DTS Neo 2.5 is on my TV Settings too. I have bass on -4 and it’s still good 👌🏻

I connect my Soundbar to my TV with HDMI in the ARC port.

Then in your TV Settings go to Sound > Expert Settings and you should see the Output option. My guess is you’re using PCM which has weak bass on mine.
I nearly bought this one around Christmas and if I remember correctly it had very good reviews. The only real complaint on the review websites is that apparently it uses a lot of distortion when you crank the volume up. It sounded really nice to me when I was blasting music in the store though. However, in the end I went with a similarly priced LG soundbar because I didn't like the design of the Samsung.

The buttons on the sound bar itself are nasty little things covered in a rubber mould. Imagine a cheap £3 universal remote controls buttons and that is the best description I can think of. It's not the end of the world as you will mostly use the remote to control it.

Another problem was that the subwoofer doesn't have any protection on it, it's literally Women's tights material stretched over the speaker. I have my subwoofer positioned next to my TV where it is accessible so I was worried my 2 year old might damage it as the stretched over tights provide no protection. The LG soundbar I went with has a strong metal mesh protecting the speakers and personally I thought it looked a lot nicer with better build quality.
Thanks HUKD fr!end - I'll give it a try - daft question is HDMI Arc a specific HDMI cable - the one I use is the one that came with XBOX one

Yeah you got to get a proper arc cable
What's the delivery time for one of these as I ordered mine from Groupon on the 2nd may & I'm still waiting, been in touch with them & they said it's still within the 7 day delivery window. I'll never buy from Groupon again if this is the waiting period for all items bought from there, it's not like it's £50 it's £159, when I go to track my package it says ordered that's all theres a few more things it has to go through before delivery & I'm just wondering if anyone else who's ordered one of these is still waiting?
Hi all could someone please help me choose what model to buy M360 or K450 only difference I can see is the wattage and k450 has hdmi input. Any advice much appreciated thank you
