£449 up front but comes down to £349 after cashback from Samsung. I really don't need a soundbar but very tempted at this price myself. Great soundbar by all reviews with the added flex to get wireless rears and a sub if wanting to upgrade down the line.

Only silver version at this price unfortunately. Reviews below

Firstly, for the price - this really needs to come with a subwoofer. I find it a little ridiculous that it doesn't, no matter how much they claim it's Hi-Res. I've purchased a K335 from Sainsbury's 2 years ago (on offer for around £75) which came with a subwoofer and sounds decent. I've also purchased a K450 recently on Amazon for another room (on offer for £140 from £180) which also came with a subwoofer and sounds even better.

You mention cashback, but failed to link to Samsung's website in which to claim this - and the website doesn't link to it either. A 10 second Google search links me to this: samsung.com/uk/…ck/which states that it's for a TV AND SOUNDBAR. So I don't think buying the soundbar on it's own will qualify, and if so, the true cost will be back to £449.

Edit* For transparency, the soundbar IS included in the discount, as apparently it's a Sound+ model, but again, the website doesn't mention this - just that you can get cashback.

So 25% of your bashing post's content was incorrect and jumping the gun . You must be fun at parties.
This is a really good deal - this bar is 799 at Curry’s (before cash back and you do get a free blu Ray player). Might be worth pointing out that you can get wireless rears for £89 which are £249 at Curry’s. Also free HDMI Cable

Thanks for correcting your wrong point. Maybe check all details before posting incorrect information in the future?

Doesn't need a sub at all. The bass from this will be much more detailed and accurate than some cheap sub. I'm not one to purely believe everything I read but every review I've read has praised the base even without the standalone sub.
I've got the 650 version of this and can confirm that I've not missed a standalone subwoofer

Trying to say this should come with a sub because the cheap one you got from the supermarket needed one is a rediculous comment. You clearly don't understand technology and should maybe read some of the reviews before commenting. If youre used to a £75 supermarket sound bar this will blow you away!

They're made by the same company. I understand enough thanks, unlike your spelling and grammar. Buy it if you like it that much, but for the price you could get some proper speakers.

Good point. They are made by the same company and this is a more expensive product in their range with better technology and features. The bass would be much better and controlled than the cheaper version you got. You do realise bass is not the only indicator of good sound right?

Which would be proper speakers then?
I've demoed this and it doesn't need the sub. There is a wireless sub available but this is a really good price just for the soundbar, which has reviewed really well, upscales audio, and has upward firing 'ambience' speakers but not atmosphere.

I'm so tempted, especially with the cash back, but I'm still thinking I'm just going to go the Sonos beam route. This soundbar will undoubtedly outperform the Beam and I'm hesitant about DTS etc decoding which this will not suffer with. However, it will just be overkill for the room I want to put it in.

I'm having the same debate with myself. Was definitely going to get a sonos beam. No doubt about it..... Until I stumbled on this deal. Ruined my Sunday. Lol
Why do all these Samsung sound bar deals go cold when its scorching hot if there is so much as £30 off a Sonos system which is comparable to this? Odd. Anyway. Good find.

No idea. Thought it was quite good myself.

Doesn't help when the first comment you receive is completely inaccurate.

True. I'm not sure what to do here. In no rush to buy so might wait but this is a cracking price. Will need bar a sub and a new TV before house move (priorities)
why is this cold lol
