Cheapest ever price for this flagship Atmos soundbar.

Was keeping an eye on this yesterday but nowhere offered any decent discounts on it with the cheapest being around £1,299.

Yes, this is a bit of a niche product spending 1k on a soundbar, BUT it's pretty much unanimously reviewed as the 'best in class', offering full 7.1.4 sound with wireless rear speakers, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and eARC.

I was looking at the LG SL10YG which is cheaper at £899 but isn't reviewed as well and doesn't have the rear speakers (can be optionally bought raising the total price above this).

It's around £300 cheaper than most retailers are selling it for.

In stock with free delivery.

Price match info: I successfully got a price match from Richer Sounds who beat the price by £10 bringing total cost down to £989 including delivery (had to check with management to make sure the deal was legit due to the price difference). 12 month guarantee as standard but for a further £98 this can be extended to 6 years with a refund if it isn't used.

Not everyone has the space for separates. And this is a good price for a soundbar with 12 speakers, rears and a sub.

Interesting comment how much would a separates 7.1.4 system set you back?

I bow to your superior knowledge then and yeah i guess if you live in London trying to squeeze a proper setup into a broom cupboard flat might be an issue - i feel your pain!

Bit of a wide ranging question and i never said 7.1.4.
5.1 is fine for me!
Must be why the deal is so hot!

Lol i don’t have one of these, but they genuinely seem fantastic.

Not many speaker deals have come up this Black Friday.

I remember when I got my Pioneer Kuro, was given a private audition with one in a blacked out room, with my own movies. Don’t think many shops have that kinda setup anymore.

Pioneer Kuro you are the man lol

I am still on Plasma too - Panasonic TH-103PF9UK its still going strong although I have repaired it 3 times.
Possibly 4 as its got the red yellow sparklies on startup again disappears after 5 mins so capacitors are gone on the ysus board yet again!

Plasma tellies and the ysus board its a nightmare of bad design!

Great soundbar, I have this and it sounds amazing... Paid a lot more than that though, heat from me 🔥
2 deals for this soundbar, same day (earlier one expired), same price, one goes plus 100 one minus 100. got to love herd mentality.

Can you use a different sub with this?
I will say though if you have space then a speaker setup is the better route to go. Peter Tyson doing some decent packages with receivers for not much more than this.

Lol the Kuro was given away and replaced with a LG E7. Will probably upgrade when micro led becomes a thing.

Of course it is but we have some rally adamant folks on here who think a £1000 soundbar is the ultimate in surround lol
Obviously never visited a listening room ....well there arent any left lol

You would think if they want to revive the high street Currys and others would bring back listening rooms to impress the customers and bring back the punters not to mention bringing back the Xbox and PS4 demo displays where you can have a play before you buy!

Ahhh the good old days lol
OFM

PPS. LG arghhhhhhh no just no - should have been Samsung at the very least!

High street is dead. Went to carphonewarehouse few days ago and asked if a phone was water resistant...shop assistant told me she doesn’t know and I should probably look on gsm arena to get the spec info.. certainly will not be visiting that branch again

Sadly that is very true unfortunately the average Brit now aspires to the mediocre in most things, out here in Slovakia in places like Electrodom (Slovak Version Of Comet) the staff are trained in every item they have to sell the service is pretty top notch you got some guys with University degrees punting tellies and hoovers - sad!

Check this - very sad.

buzzfeed.com/sco…art

I hadnt even noticed that some of them are gone that shows you how often we visit the high street now- 32 major shop brands gone since 2017?

I was out yesterday in Glasgow and most of the shops in Silverburn are now womens clothes shops?

Us guys in the "good old days" had Listen, the music room, the gadget shop, the spy shop , maplin, clyde model dockyard, military modelling, comet, dixons, flip, treasure island amusements - I used to spend hours in town if not the full day shopping , now its lucky if i spend more than an hour and even so its just poundland, primark and ?????

Back up to £1,249 now so expiring this. Glad to see it's helped a couple of people out. Probably gone cold because why spend this much on a best in class 7.1.4 Atmos soundbar when you can get a Bush 2.1 setup for £55...
Damn it missed this, serves me right for not setting up an alert. Doesn't help that it got voted freezing cold
tnx god i did wait until the evening to order one :))

I managed to get a price match with John Lewis. I thought I wouldnt hear from them until Monday by which time it would have gone back up by the confirmed today! I'm still debating whether to go for this or stick to the traditional 5.1 system.

If you are local (Stoke on trent) I could order one for you from John Lewis.

Thanks for that, sadly we are in London, I’ve set up an alert so hopefully something else comes up. Currently have an old Onkyo 5.1 set up but mrs is tired of wires everywhere and doesn’t want it when we move
