According to the expansys forum link below it wont work with this phone as it is orange branded but there is a different version which will work (according to the forum) link enclosed below. It will however invalidate the warrenty.

The vouchers are for single use and can only be used by one customer

It was only last September that these were about £280 from Expansys so this is a really good price now

For some reason on Expansys the refurbed ones are still ~£130 ...

trying to convince myself this will be better than my nokia e61 on 3 ( dont need the camera)
worried about the orange settings, anyone got a 3 sim working fine in this?

I disagree, I like it. Shame about the camera and battery life else this would have been near perfect for me.

Voted hot. I'm tempted but the smartphones just haven't adavnced enough for me yet. I wouldlove one that had a bigger screen for wifi net surfing so that websites (like this one can be viewed) on the move. A decent camera would be the icing on the cake for me...... the search contnues!

You should spend the extra money on the htc touch, smaller with a bigger screen and touch :P Also mobile 6

WM 6.1, the latest version of windows mobile, isn't available for this old model.

just a few spelling mistakes here!! Could you try any harder to make them?

I can see three minor typos, it's readable.

You haven't started your first sentence with a capital letter and only one exclamation mark is required.

absolute bargain! I'm still trying to hold out for a good deal on an HTC S710, but this is tempting.

One of the best WM Smartphones around. Good size for the pocket yet has the convenience of full qwerty on the front and scroll wheel for reading emails etc. Build quality is much more robust than floppy HTC sliders - tough enough to take down the pub. Only downsides are battery life (but that's fine if you turn off 3G) and the proprietary charger/sync connector instead of mini-USB. Many Samsung enhancements to WM to make it easier to use. Very good value at this price.

i bought the old i320 for 100 just a coule of months ago. Its a great phone and more then worth the money. So this is an awesome deal.

The battery life is fine and no worse then any other handset. I use mine a lot and the bat happily lasts a day. I just charge each night. It will last 2 days but id rather not risj it. To be honest ive treated every phone ive ever had the same way.

the 1.3 camera is fine for every day pics, quality is fine for 7' photos. just lacks if you want to zoom in loads. views on a pc or the phone its enougth to get by.

I bought mine cos i cant stand the touch phones, never got one that feels right give me real buttons anyday.

just got a new one off ebay for £36 in mint nick,
am gonna upgrade to WM6 this morning if anyone's interested in following suit pm to see how i do.

p.s i've got SDHC driver's which work up to 4gb but i hope should also take 8gb!! let me know if you want these.

apparently the orange one comes with 2 batteries, one an extended one that requires the use of a different battery cover also supplied

Massively tempted but- "While it is unlocked, it has been pre-configured for use on the Orange network " is whats concerning me. If I slap in my O2 pay as you go sim is it going to be next to useless?

No way that's what I got!
Have been looking for a new smartphone and I can't think why. 3 have good contract and data plans that suit me, yet I want more.
Been looking at the E90...So expesnvie.

If I hadn't recently purchased an Asus M530W from Expansys for about twice the price I would be seriously tempted by this offer... especially if it can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.0.

As the '3' Network use Orange in areas where 3G is not available, it is possible that some features (such as data access) may well be available in these areas when using a '3' SIM, which I found with my phone recently. However I have now switched over to O2, so can't really comment further.

Lets hope that any purchasers will give some feedback as to how they get on, as this does look like a VERY good deal.

Edit: It is interesting that the 'B grade' ones are being specifically advertised as 'network-unlocked', whereas these are not!

A quick read through the i600 forum on that site has been enough to put me off. Major question marks being whether the Orange branded units have pocket msn removed (something I would use alot) and not being able to upgrade these Orange branded units to WM6.

Shame as it seems like a good bit of kit for a good price.

EDIT- Well after reading a few success stories regarding upgrades to WM6 (which will also resolve the msn issue) I've decided to give it a punt :P My current phone is on its last legs so even if it just works as a decent phone and somewhere to keep my outlook calender then for £100 I'll be happy.

Sigh. It must be great to be perfect. Poor spelling doesn't make me an idiot.

Thanks. Some people are just odd.

pondered on this since yesterday but have now taken the plunge.

Thanks for the heads up Mitch.

It's hopefully been updated since this video! Orange branding is a pain. I've always been on Orange and there's always something that screws up my phone. And they tend to block Nokia firmware updates. Lucky I have a Service centre nearby for those problems.

The guy presenting this video clearly was never expecting Orange branding to have benefitted this phone, talk about sounded pessimistic!

Thank you so much. Was looking for a smartphone, people in the office keeping laughing at my SPV2000, ugly as hell, either that or I'm ugly as hell.

Not a bad looker, shame about the keypad!
