I wouldn't call 2600mAh battery "massive"
It will suffice however

you are 'probably' right. thanks for your input.
I have a Moto G2 and I have to say this phone has an excellent spec for the money and more features that the Moto G, PDG in my humble opinion.

Internal memory only 8gb you really need to point this spec out as I personally think this is not useable if you plan on using and install a handful of apps. If you don't use you your phone much I think it's fine but 16gb is a minimum. The snapdragon 410 is fine in this price range. All other specs are good too. Also I would put upgrade in the title just so people know it's only upgrade

It's probably fine if you don't install games. Regular applications aren't usually very large.

Dependent on what the OS takes up on these (and I am unsure) 8gb is usually enough for more than a "handful" of apps. It's games which take up space, if you play games of any type but especially 3D games you are right 8GB will not be enough, 16GB probably won't either. There are however a lot of people who don't have any games on their phones at all and for these people 8GB should be plenty.

Probably but some apps like what's app and other messaging services store images videos ect on to the phone memory and you cannot set it to store on memory card. A lot of people have auto download set. Iam sounding old here now but a lot of younger generation send messages and pictures to each other and don't memory manage so 8gb fills up really quickly. But each use case us different just a heads up to perarants buying for there children. This has been the case in my experience a lot of people who have kids only have a few messaging apps and bulk of storage is taken up by that.

I've bought two of these recently on a £9 a month tariff with ID Mobile and have been really impressed with the phone.
Decent build quality, screen is bright and sharp enough, all the features I use are there.
Are these locked or unlocked?

From CPW?
I would rather get he Huawei p8 lite
I bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas and they're unlocked. Compared to the moto g I'd say this is better in two ways, better screen and camera. Apart from that there's not much in it speed wise.
amazing phone I got it on contract and love it

with android it doesn't really matter as it has a microsd slot so any big games can just be installed and moved to the sd card
Just read your posts then googled Moto G2 and the price is about £130, does anyone know a cheaper price as I'm half interested as I have a SIM only contract with EE, could I use it on the Moto G2 . Just noted the Moto G2 is 8mp whereas the one advertised in original post is 13mp

Iv just (today) has the moto g3 delivered. I paid £99 for it from Vodafone. Lots of info on here for it. Just put it in the serch at the top of the page. Hope this helps.
how do i get this for £89
I'm using one now... I wouldn't buy a phone with 8gb internal again though
.. I've put a 64 GB card in to but most Apps can't be moved to add card.. it's really limiting.
is this not really £99 plus £10 top up as £89 only for upgrades?
Decisions... decisions....
Moto G3 v this one?
Moto - Gorilla glass & waterproof
Samsung - better camera & screen def, removable battery....

The 8/1GB or 16/2GB?
This deal is not available to everyone but is getting a fair amount of heat. I bought it on saturday after seeing the last deal which was £ 110.
Is this better than the s3?

I just bought the moto g from vodafone and now I see this. thinking about returning it if everyone is saying that this one is better and unlocked. how much does it cost without upgrading?

Edit* so its £110 without upgrading, is it worth the extra tenner?

It's a personal thing. I like the blacks with oled displays, but I don't like the blue tinge a lot have, and the ink spots (on ths S3, Note 2), etc.

I agree with the blacks and they're definitely more vibrant and nice to look at but the greys have a yellow tinge which really put me off, and the pentile matrix was noticeable on my Note 4. Made my iPhone 6 look like it had a higher ppi. The main issue I have is the eventual screen ghosting when the OLEDS deteriorate (might have been what you meant by ink spots).

you might want to put the fact its a PHONE in the title

The ink spots probably doesn't effect most people and probably is a bit like backlight bleed, were every device seems different (with IPS displays anyway).

I use CM with the black themes so it's much more visible this way, with the default firmware and UI, probably less so.

Ok no that's not what I was referring to, didn't realise that issue existed. The issue I have is this:

Takes at least a year usually but enough people know about it for it to affect resale value. Obviously with this phone resale value isn't an issue as its already cheap!
