Be warned this phone has a cheap and nasty feel to it, got my wife one a short time ago on PAYG, a real dissapointment, would have expected better from Samsung even at this entry level

Fair comment the phone is a little on the Cheap and Nasty side but hey free is free, I just slipped the sim into another phone and hey presto. :whistling:

it seems it's not in stock yet?

just watch any of these cash back deals, many mobile phone companies are not doing very well and 3 months into contract bang they go bust and no cash back for you !!!!!!!

just look at some of the high street names to go over the last few months and think !!!!!!!!

Or you could go for the clearance deal which is 12 mths free/12 mth contract and same Quidco (In my experience clearance phones are as good as new)

There are a variety of options around minutes/texts, therse are links to 1 of those options which each site.

If you get the cashback, then it's a good deal. Personally I'd steer clear of cashback deals - even if they stay afloat, then it's a minefield to get your money back.

Can I ask what deal you would go for instead? I'm interested in what the people who say stay clear of cashback deals go for instead.

Worst case scenario is that you don't get the cashback and pay your £30 per month contract for 12 months. If you don't go for a cashback deal is this not what you are going to end up with anyway?

Cheers

I have to agree with the avoidance of cashback deals. I am in my second cashback deal but personally would go down the SIM only deals from Vodafone or O2 and you get Quidco (or similar)from them. Not as bad as potentially being down over £300. Changed days....

end up with a good phone

normally u get a expensive phone with these priceplans, but they give u a cheap phone instead.
so if they run off with your cashback the u end up paying full linerental with CHEAP phone

i myself pay cheap linerental, without cashback and get a decent phone.
not as cheap as cashback but MUCH safer and longer lasting value:whistling:

1750minutes or 3500text or any combination of both,
unlimited internet browsing, with a midrange phone
£25 a month
no dodgy cashback, straight from network provider

This will be the forth time I have used a cash back deal twice with this company, IMO the people who get shafted are those that miss the mail in date or don't send the correct bills or don't read/follow the conditions. As for what happens if they go under, thats the chance you take and you may be able to contact them to reduce you tarriff. While this won't be for everyone, its great for me I've had several mobiles over the past 5 years and not paid for any charges so if they go bust I'm happy to off set the cost against the others.
