same for me

My girlfriend bought one of last year when her W810i went missing for £50 from the Vodafone shop. Basic features but very nice looking phone. Infact it looks at lot more expensive than what it actually is. She liked it though. She found her W810i down the back of the living cupboard a couple of months ago so passed this one onto her brother.

Defo a good bargain at £29 delivered. If I was looking for a cheap PAYG phone I'd get this on Voda and an Asda sim card.

HOT and rep.

EDIT: Computer tells me I must spread some rep around before giving andywedge some more. Andy you're deals must be too good mate!

anyone know if its true that phones from here and carphone are all unlocked

Heat added.

I bought one of these for myself & my wife a while back for £50 from Play
(who, oddly sold them with a nice deal on a 4gb micro SD card.....yet they say in the manual that 2gb is your lot. Due to time & need we sent the 4gb cards back & changed to 2gb to be safe, does anyone know if they will take a bigger card?)

Cracking little phone, amazing value at this price.

Link not working for me either:thinking:

I bought this when it first came out using Littlewoods voucher so I got it for approximately £50-60
I love Samsung phones because they're simple and easy to use but they break very easily and after dropping this phone after 1 month of use it keeps cutting off whenever I'm on a call. I'm hardly on the phone since I text alot more but don't get this phone if you're into gadgets because it's very pixelated with crap camera, colours, music etc. It's really a basic phone!
Voted hot because I think for a basic phone that looks like a cool phone on the outside, this is a good deal!

can you use your own tones for when recieving text messages?

Or is it like most Samsungs that limit you to a few very crap short and quiet tones. This is the only reason i want to swap from my current Samsung - i keep missing text messages.

You can use mp3s as message alerts/ ringtones/alarms.

That price is for a reconditioned/clearance unit.

By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even further savings on your monthly line rental! These items are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. These are not flawed products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace of mind, each and every handset has been quality inspected by our engineers & reconditioned if necessary. Each handset also comes with a full years manufacturers warranty. Most phones from CPW are simfree/unlocked

If it doesnt arrive unlocked it can easily be done by codes

That is assuming it IS a j700 and NOT a J700i,the later doesnt accept the codes, some places are advertising phones as j700's when in fact they are j700i's which is the updatted version

Wouldn't really bother me whether something of this price range was brand new of recon tbh.

the non reconditioned ones are only £5 more worth a look:)
