This is not great deal: JLP will not price match ebuyer (as it is an internet only business) BUT the next cheapest is a shop in Leeds/ Doncaster called Crampton and Moore selling for 539 and JLP will price match these folk. So for £10 you get JLP service and a five year guarantee for ONLY TEN POUNDS. Surely better value!!

Looks good to me! Miami Heat!

Get them to do the price match and then post that deal then, until they match the price this is the best deal!

I would not post if price match not agreed: I have email showing price match agreed!!!!!

Mate its awesome bit of light bleed paches on dark screens but turn brightness down it helps

Great the light bleed patches are bit annoying you notice them on the black part of letterbox movies mainly but from what i have read this is pretty much the same for any UHD TV.
Sound is very good Xbox one is brill BUT i was getting a strange green ghosting while playing fifa sometimes changed the xbox setting and was perfect

I have this very TV. wonderful picture, smart hub apps good, sound good. I share the small issue with light bleed. Also though I experience severe lag on the smart hub. anyone know of a cure?

Can't be any worse than ebuyer

This is the best TV you can get in this price range , it's an excellent PC/ Apple Mac Monitor as well that supports 4:4:4 chroma with 24.7 input lag good for games & editing etc at full HDR [email protected] on HDMI port 1 only. Full review here : youtu.be/ww5…Axw Look for deals to get it , i got mine for £360 40'' version. Best smart TV/Monitor of 2017.

It was shipped with firmware 1142 & I upgraded to latest firmware via 1165 via Wifi which enabled 10bit HDR , few other features that are not listed on samsung website or else where are as follow.
1. Wi-Fi Lan is IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
2. The Ethernet LAN speed that the TV can support is maximum 100 Mbps.
3. The HDMI ports 2 & 3 are 2.0 but not full bandwidth for UHD color HDR. Only HDMI 1 is full bandwidth 10bit HDR 4k [email protected] color capable.
4. The TV support HDCP 2.2
5. The USB ports are 2.0
6. The USB port 1 is 5V 0.5A & USB port 2 is 5V 1A

I ended up buying this from Very, expired now £530 seems like a good price still though

Ive only had the smart hub crash once on me and reset the tv as a problem, seems to have very little lag for me. I do wonder if there is a way to clear the cache on it all though as Id imagine performance would get slower in time like any PC? I mean surely its saving a lot internally on Netflix if you are streaming 4k content.

All this HDR stuff just confuses me! When do should you actually turn it on? Only if your using a PS Pro or something or all the time?

The tv looks fantastic too, has hdmi passthrough to work with sonos which is why I went for it!

Waiting for the 55inch model to drop further, but thanks for posting! Heat!

Very good value medium range TV. Only downside if the visual artefacts don't bother you (I hardly notice any), is there is no All4 on the smart functions but a £25 android box fixes that for you and brings added functionality.

I got mine from JL who gave great service and the best price at the time.

This TV was cheaper earlier this year but who cares. Get a great TV for the price of a night with an escort.

I'm not in retail, but comments like yours annoy me. You simply cannot expect stores like JLP to match online only, its not comparing apples with apples. JLP have a lot of overheads that online only businesses don't. Their wage bills will be higher, their property maintenance/rent and rates will all probably be more too, so despite their larger economy of scale, it will naturally be harder for them to compete.

I would hope that a business like JLP would always try to price match as its all business for them, but if the figures don't add up, they have the right to refuse. Ask yourself this, if you had your own business, would you buy something for £100 and then sell it for £90?

Still no Ch4 All4 on the smart hub tho'

You make me laugh...i do and we would !!! i would rather make just £10 then NO QUIDS!!!! do it all the time price matching and making loads less then we normally do..AND they get to know how good a service they get and come back. You obviously have NEVER worked in retail.
5% profit is better then NO profit!!!

I did actually work in retail, but unlike you, I also got an A in maths. If you had listened in maths, you would know that when you buy something for £100 and sell it for £90 you actually make a £10 LOSS!! you also wouldn't post stuff on a forum which makes you look like a plank!! X)

I hope you know where the job centre is because your shop won't be around long with you on the sales team X)

You're showing your lack of intelligence, not only with the figures, but also by name calling, its very childish. However, I would really like to know if you're REALLY this deluded or are you trying really hard!

Let me make it bit easier for you to grasp:

My post: "Ask yourself this, if you had your own business, would you buy something for £100 and then sell it for £90?"

Your reply: "...i do and we would !!! i would rather make just £10 then NO QUIDS!!!! do it all the time price matching"

Even if you are as uneducated as you're making out, you must understand that if You BUY IN at £100 and you then SELL it for £90, that's a £10 LOSS!!. Please explain to me, because as someone who considered themselves to be relatively good with figures, I'm struggling to work out how you get £90-£100 to leave you with £10 profit!!

There was absolutely no mention of netting, no mention of profit in what I said, not that it would matter as if we're factoring in the cost of sales (as you alluded to), that would surely REDUCE the profit further. E.g. you buy in for £100 and incur £15 cost of sales, the total outlay is then £115, so selling at £90 would be even worse!!!! (except in your world, where it would add £15 to the profit X) )

You then unbelievably proclaimed, almost with pride, that you often sell for less than you buy in for... which to you, seems to make total sense!!

You then have the audacity to call ME a drip?

Can you please do me a favour and let me know what shop you work in, because I'll DEFINITELY be popping in, must be some real bargains to be had! In fact, here's a plan, I'll pop in to your shop, I'll buy £10,000 worth of stock (which you obviously paid £15,000 for as you love to make a quick profit), and then I can sell it all on the market for £1,000, that's an easy £9,000 profit!!! Come on, lets do this!!! This time next year we'll be millionaires!!!

90 - 100 = 10 ROFL!!!!
