Ordered the predator from scan id say better monitor

I'm interested in that one too, do you mean better for gaming?
Which is best for working from home and some web design work?

I'm looking for a 21:9 ratio - has anyone come across any good deals? Was thinking the LG 29UC88 at £350 on amazon.

This one by far. The predator is a gaming monitor (which I ordered), but have a UHD monitor next to it for non gaming tasks

£300 1440p QLED monitor sounds pretty darn good to me. Spec-wise at least. Haven't really heard anything about how good the panel really is.

I dont like the white, though. Actually I do, but it would look out of place in my basically all-black setup.

EDIT: This apparently has Freesync too, and can run at 75hz when enabled. Bottom range of 48hz for it, though.

Nice, how bad would it be for gaming though?

There's nothing about the given specs that should put off a gamer, but it's impossible to find reviews. Only one on Amazon who rates display quality(they aren't impressed by backlighting issues), but they say nothing of pixel response.

Hard to say without more impressions whether it's worth buying.

The wide gamut rather kills it for any normal use, unless you like oversaturated colours. Monitors like this are only worth going for if you're mostly using them with colour managed programs.
