The stylish Samsung LC27JG50QQUXEN WQHD (Wide Quad High Definition) curved gaming monitor will be a worthy addition to your battle station.

Minimising light leakage across the entire screen – even at the corners, as well as delivering a 3000:1 contrast ratio for deeper blacks and more brilliant whites, the Samsung LC27JG50QQUXEN provides a rich and immersive visual experience.

FreeSync technology from AMD, provides smooth gameplay in any kind of action, while Game Mode lets you effortlessly select screen settings optimised for different game genres, ensuring you see defined images in darker areas to help prevent sneak attacks.*

* FreeSync might not be this model, I would double check that.

Where does it say this has freesync?
thanks
I read some reviews on this and it seems like the build quality/reliability isn't the best. Also, the colours are meant to leave a bit to be desired. People ever experiencing blur etc. in FPS gaming - which I find hard to believe with 144hz.

I just bought the Benq 27PD2700Q this week and the build quality and colours look great, out of the box. Yet to test it fully but on first impressions, very happy. If the reviews of this Samsung had been better then I might have taken the plunge and compared against the the Benq.

The quality of this monitor is terrible. I had quite a few trying to get a good one and just gave up in the end. Dead pixels being the main issue, but also debris behind the panel giving the impression of clusters of dead pixels. Colours weren't that bad. The ghosting thing is true, it might be 144hz, but the pixel response is 4ms. It's a cheap panel at the end of the day, but I'd recommend getting something a little better.

I was 1 click away from buying this but I had buyers remorse.

Other reviews saying it's great. May as well have gave it a go. If it's crap you just return it. Like I've done. Bought and if it's crap, will be getting returned.
Screw it, just purchased it paying 181.99 with all the promotions. Wish me luck!

Hopefully they have fixed the issues with it by now and you get a good one. If it wasn't such a bad experiance I may have given it another go. But I had 5, so not bothering.

Here's hoping, definetly worth a try at the price
I already had one of these, so ordered it a friend. Its a great monitor. You just have to set it up correctly.

5! OMG

TBH VA panels are not suitable for gaming or movement in general. Even 144Hz i s unlikely to fix the pixel transition problems with a VA panel. There are examples on youtube of gaming on VA panels, not 144Hz but I very much doubt that the pixel transitions problems are going to change/improve. Certain colours show it up really badly.

Try white text on a black background, maybe install "dark background and light text" firefox extension and scroll a long webpage to see an example. 3000:1 sounds nice but in reality it isn't much use unless you are using static pictures.

However maybe your colour selection will not be such a problem for these VA panels as they are for me.

BTW I have a x-rite i1 Display Pro and therefore my displays are optimized as good as they can be.

I just bought 6 on my partners account. Wait till she finds out...I’m going to deny all knowledge.

Amazon - I believe I paid £240ish for a 'like new' one from the warehouse. It's about £284 full price for a new one.

Cool, how do you rate it for gaming. I'm planning to build soon. Have an RTX2080 but want to pair with a 3700x.
Just received mine. Really like it, the size, design, colour looks good. Just one problem is that there is a dead pixel on the far right although can't be bothered sending it back and it's barley visible, so not a big deal. 4/5

Haven’t opened mine up, considering sending it back as want it mainly for gaming. I’d swap if if I was you, pixel could get worse
Received mine, really chuffed with it. Although i was using HDMI 2.0 and i was getting green flickers on the screen. Switched to Display Port now and the issue seems to have stopped. Great specs for 200 quid
Gonna send it back, although it's complicated as have to go through samsung support as amazon will only refund it.

Are you going to get another?
What settings did you all go for? Finally unboxed it and the colours seem a little off
