Was going to buy this and sell my LG M227WD, but this only has 1 HDMI port, and I have my PS3 and my PC hooked up the LG, not that good, only 1 HDMI.

But hot price for someone, have some heat

What's wrong with theLG? Ebuyer's got that model on offer too today at £135.99 and it looked pretty good.

Nothing, but when you change the chanel it can take ages sometimes, up to 20 seconds, and thats no joke, but I knew that when I bought it.
I am just a sucker for a bargain... LOL
I am going to save some money and buy a 40" for a normal TV in the bedroom and just keep my LG.

Yes - 75mm x 75mm.

The official Samsung wall mount is product WMN22FMD. See product manual link in post #1

so tempted.... would this be a good price if it were just a monitor? I feel I'd be paying for the TV aspects of it too, which I'm not interested in
Would it be worth just skipping this one and finding one that is just monitor specific?

If you just want a monitor this size I suggest this LED-backlit Benq for £106.75 from Amazon: amazon.co.uk/Ben…8-5

Wii connects through the SCART input

Nice tv but have to say not too keen on the angle it seems to display it at. I was expecting a screen to face me not be at an angle tilted away.

You could mount this on a wall without having the tilt and it'd look awesome.

Why is this called a Lapfit? Will it fit in my lap?

Wii connects through the SCART input

Or better yet via the Samsung's COMPONENT input (having bought a component cable for your Wii), though still going to be stuck way below 1080p of course - from memory at just 480p:)

does anyone have this and know how 'vertical' you can get it to go?

You'd need some kind of analog to digital converter, something that will take the scart or composite cables from the Wii and output the signal in DVI or HDMI. You can get standalone units, but they're expensive and require an external power source. A DVD recorder will also work (has to be an upscaling DVD recorder with HDMI). That will connect via HDMI and you can plug scart devices into it. I'm currently using a 26" monitor as a 'TV' in the living room and my Wii is connected through a DVD recorder - it's not ideal but it works.

ordered 2 for my wall! hot!

Why do you provide advice without properly checking whether it's correct first?

@no1knows... He asked to 'a monitor', not this monitor/TV combo which obviously has normal TV inputs that a regular monitor would lack!

The irony is it's your advice that is irrelevant...:P

Looked great and so I bought one. However, how do you remove the integral stand if wall mounting? In addition, the VESA mount I bought didn't seem to fit. Do I have to buy the Samsung one and if so, where from. Help appreciated. Cheers

same here, the mounting holes is not 75*75 but 145*60, where can i find a desk mounting braket with this size?

I am asking Samsung but don't expect too much help. I have been recommended this but still don't know how to remove the integral stand.

I've had the same mounting hole issues. Warrennick have you had any joy?

Still waiting to hear from Samsung. Will post if reply received.

The official Samsung response is as follows "Regarding the E-Mail that you sent us, kindly be advised that this type of stand is not detachable, hence you won’t be able remove
this type of stand as it’s already screwed to the insides of the monitor." I think that means, "sorry, it's not wall mountable, so sorry, sold a pup".

Unless I'm missing something:

Sorry, this product is currently unavailable. It is likely that it has been discontinued and no longer for sale.
