Dont vote cold if you read this too late, in fact I will expire it at 6PM,

Limited time offer, use code christmas10 at checkout.

Seems to be a great offer for those that dont want to rush out in the boxing day sales, doubt you would find a decent branded 32" any cheaper on the high street,

I dont blame you, we had a LG for one week, poor picture, lack of picture control options and a loose panel inside the frame on a 42", phoned customer services who didnt want to know, went back to the store and got them to price deal a Philips instead, much better picture.

Have an older samsung 32" in the spare room, never had any trouble with it at all, great picture.

Gather so, thats the payment that is to be expected, if it went through at that, then it should be fine, cant see them cancelling an honoured price like that.

Some coupon codes do happen to run over the times allocated anyway.....

Excellent buy, ordered one before 6pm. Thanks! Also went through Egg do get instant 2.5% cashback :-)

Code is STILL working, but I guess hurry.....

who has expired this, I said code is STILL working at the moment?

Coz time has passed someone might have expired this

I doubt Dixons offer finishes at 6pm. Thats just to lure customers to buy like crazey.

By seeing so many offers on tv prices slash. It is very likely to continue price deflation till the new year.

Prices are likely to go down even futher in the new year.

Check out nextag.co.uk to see price comparison, you will notice a big steep down from today and which will continue till the new year. As many retailers have a large supply of tvs and they will have choice but to reduce even futher if people wait now.

I would advise buy in the new year.

Offer is still running, product is still in stock, maybe you can forecast but not guarantee you would get a CURRENT Series 4 Samsung 32" that already had £50 knocked off it, plus an extra £30 on top of that, so an £80 saving making it as cheap as the cacky no names.

"IF" you were likely to get anything cheaper than this in the New Year, then it would no doubt be a clearance model, and then its just forecast projecture.

Any ideas what type of warranty comes with the tv, is it the manufacturers warranty and if so for how long? Much appreciated if you could let me know:)

Manufacturers 1 year warranty as standard with Samsung sets, unless you paid extra for 3 or 5 year cover. Our Samsung is 3 years old and never any problems with it, likewise our Philips 42" is 18 months currently, no problems, unless you are unlucky and have a lemon of a set, LCD tend to be very reliable.

Only 2.5% off now :-(

Right thats my Merry Xmas HUKD post finished, off from here now to enjoy the Christmas evening, Merry Christmas all.....

is this good enough for ps3 and xbox 360 or should i get the lg 1080p for 349.99?
also, does anyone know if lg are reliable in tvs?
thanks in advance and merry christmas

if this is 720p then xbox360 &skyhd will be perfect if you have ps3 then blue ray is better on 1080p the lg get good reviews but if price is the concern these £ r perfect

You won't notice the difference between 720p and 1080p at this size of screen unless you're sitting right in front of the TV.

Does anyone know if the Sony at Richer Sounds is worth the extra at £299? And also if I can't get it there is it worth £350 odd at Argos compared to this?

Depends on what you consider is a deal, and whether you want to travel....how many HDMI inputs do you need, Richer Sounds tend to sell in general equipment that has been discontinued....not to say the Sony Bravia they are selling is rubbish....check the specification. Ask yourself is it worth getting up early and travelling to Richer Sounds (dont know how far away you live) Is it worth the travel costs, its £75 more at Argos if you buy it here tonight its £75 less...no brainer, of course its not worth the £350 at Argos! The TV may be good quality but as with anything if you can get it cheaper its never WORTH paying more for!

The Argos deal may be a bit more but there is a free 3 year Gtee if u order by early jan 09. Worth the extra i guess

I wish there was a way i could swap argos gift voucher of 230 quid for this at dixons
