Leaders of flat screen TV technology, Samsung, have created yet another TV that's set to go straight to the top of the class.

As you'd expect from Samsung, the LE32a457 looks stunning. The thin frame, gloss black finish and smooth curves create a signature Samsung look that makes rivals look crude and industrial.

Yet it's not just the sculptural good looks that set the LE32a457 apart. Boasting the latest generation LCD screen the Freeview 32" Samsung offers a superb contrast resolution of 10, 000:1. Combined with an above average brightness figure of 550cd/m2, the LE32a457 offers an unrivalled viewing experience. Blacks are deeper and colours more vivid than you'd expect from a TV of this price.

Twin rear-mounted HDMI (and one side-mounted) sockets allow for the connection of 3 High Definition sources, such as an HD-TV box and Blu-ray. In addition to this the LE32a457 boasts two SCART sockets, and component and S-Video connections. Furthermore, the PC input makes this attractive TV the perfect compliment to your home computer - especially when used in conjunction with the Samsung's special Game Mode.

Although no match for a home cinema system, the built-in SRS Tru-Surround system gives a useful boost to audio performance.

For a 32" LCD TV that matches style with a superb picture and sound performance, the Samsung LE32a457 is the new class leader and, thanks to your friends at Richer Sounds, it comes at a competition-busting price, too!

I have this TV and the screen doesn't attract dust that badly. The cover does tho.

Got this TV from Richer Sounds a few months ago, with the 5 year warranty. Got to say I haven't regretted it once. Brilliant colors, HD DVD's look amazing. I paid more for it back then, I think around £425

This model has a very high energy usage (180W) but if you don't mind paying a bit more on electricity every year it's a good set. Personally I went for a lower usage set (Sony 32V4000 = 101W). Panasonic also has a low energy set (115W) but I can't remember the model number.

The screen does get quite dusty its the black gloss thats annoyingly dusty, but i suppose its worse having it in a bedroom !

I know i wouldnt get one again in black gloss although the tv itself i have no problem with.

We have the older 37" R87 version with the black gloss wall mounted in the lounge.

It gets no more dusty than the window sills or the table tops... Stands to reason, the more dust in the area the worst it will be 8P
