Great TV, well worth the money for a quality mad product!

Cold.
Several places have this cheaper

Cheapest seems to be:
froogle.richersounds.com/pro…350
have it for twenty quid less = £279.95

Usual comments about instore availability for Richer sounds... BUT, they do come on this site often, and if you are having problems locating one, then the contact is on those threads.
I would personally go for the 5 year warranty option for £307.95

also probably able to get a full hd tv for the money>?

Richer Sounds at Preston told me that their price had gone back up to £ 299.99 when I took my email into them on Wednesday advertised at the lower price.

They also told me that they had none in stock and if I ordered one it would take about four weeks.

Then I would have to collect it from store - I live in Burnley (20 miles away).

I have posted in the other thread... mentioning this type of thing.. they have answered in the past when I have criticised

Get your local John Lewis to price match Richer Sounds.
I did this two weeks ago. I called on Saturday afternoon. I told them there were 4 in stock. They said they couldn't check until undersales were in on Monday, but noted that I said there were 4 in.
They called me on Tuesday to tell me that it was £10 less than I said and that I could have it. The 5 year warranty is free and so was delivrey 40 miles away.

You are dead right... annoying that - I searched for the right one,google.co.uk/pro…g=p but crappy Google to blame for including other models in it's search when it threw up the Froogle link! ( :-(

I must watch that, in future, I could be chasing round for the wrong thing on the strength of a search :-(

Trying to decide between this and the LG 32LH2000! Seems the Samsung has better blacks, but I have been told its a lottery on the panel you get. Could be great, could be blurry in motion.

Personally, I'd go for the Samsung, I have the 22 inch model, the only effy thing is the sound, I had change the equalizer. Although, I always go for Samsung just for the Game Mode, so you may need another opinion.

The LG has a Game Mode aswell, and also the Picture Wizard to calibrate the set which is nice. Heard good and bad things about both, so it is hard.

Only things putting me off the Samsung is that its a fairly old model, whereas the LG is 2009 and the reports of people getting duff panels. Dunno if that issue is still apparent or not though!
