Samsung's 100Hz enhancement technology inserts an extra frame between each two normal ones, which helps to reduce blur in fast-moving scenes. This is not a duplicate frame but is calculated to match the source using estimation and compensation processing.

HDTV allows you to experience television like never before with the widest range of colors and the clearest images. High Definition contains four or five times as many pixels making the image much clearer than standard definition.

This exclusive technology delivers more brilliant colors, even in bright areas of the picture where blues and greens are washed out on conventional screens. The system presents a wider color gamut and four times as many color gradations, showing you true colors; the fresh green of spring foliage, and the intense blue of the summer sky.

Three High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connections make your TV a multimedia centerpiece. Connect HD digital devices like disc players, game consoles, satellite dish boxes into the 2 rear connections and use the side-mounted input for cameras, camcorders and laptops. HDMI is the best performing interface for displaying an HD source on a HDTV

Samsung LCD TVs offer unparalleled picture quality that can be optimized for gaming at the touch of a button. It allows for H-sharpness and a faster response time in the games. In addition, its powerful surround sound effects produce a magical environment of wonder that is filled with excitement and joy.

Exceptionally quick and sharp, with speed of up to 6ms (millisecond), users will be able to see the remarkable difference in the response time of Samsung LCD TVs. The LCD TV ensures that each image is just as good as the real thing.

Thats the lesser spec model commonly available elsewhere for nder £500 - the one Rayman posted has 100mhz feature to reduce motion blur...

does it actually reduce motion blur though? charlie

my current sony tv is 100htz

csf

does it actually reduce motion blur though? charlie

Most people seem to think so but apparently a side effect is that "artifacts" are occassionally produced on screen. At least thats what I've read on the forums. There also appears to be a great deal of problems with the firmware of this model. However if you look on the avforums there appears to be problems with every single telly.....
