it is a great price for this TV, however, You can get the latest R88 model for a £505 ish, I just bought it couple days ago after changing it from the R74.

The new model had better picture and more importantly 3 hdmi.

I believe the deal for the R88 has been covered on here and this would be a far better option for the price and provide the latest technology and future proofing.

For £32 more you can have the brand new model the Samsung LE32R88BD with 3 HDMI. Thats not including quidco or egg card discount through Dixons. I got mine for just over £505.

Yep I agree but someone might just want one of these for as cheap as possible so there is no harm in the post especially since its the first time this model has reached sub £500!
